[00:00:00] Hey y'all, quick note, while My Hero Academia was created for kids. This podcast is not safe for work or children.
[00:00:07] All trigger warnings and spoilers for each episode can be found on our website MyHeroAnalysis.com. Thanks for listening!
[00:00:14] Hey y'all, this is My Hero Analysis, a podcast about My Hero Academia aka BookerNoHeroAkademia. We are three grown adults who mine Japanese children's cartoons for Saratone and because God knows our brains aren't making it naturally.
[00:00:41] Hey y'all, I'm Fern and I can't think of a funny or interesting intro. So I am here. Hello!
[00:00:51] I'm Nicole and I also couldn't think of anything interesting to say just that I guess I did these notes in the middle of a very productive time span and I do not remember what I did in that time span so I hope it was productive.
[00:01:11] You had just a little maniac episode, it's fine. I don't remember what it entailed, it's fine. Nothing's on fire, I don't think.
[00:01:20] You're probably good. You handled it whatever it was. Well I'm glad one of us is an on fire. Hi, it's Maria and I don't know if you can tell from my voice but I am very stuffy and I hate everything and the universe hates me and I am just I'm tired.
[00:01:39] I'm tired you more thing.
[00:01:41] Too many things all at once and now I am I'm just like here.
[00:01:48] You had the stress and then sickness came waltzing in like, oh did you invite me to the party? No sickness we did not.
[00:01:56] I blame my tiny roommate and my big roommate.
[00:02:01] That'll do it too. Having having a tiny little child running around.
[00:02:05] Yeah, so tiny child caught it first and then big roommate caught it next and then I caught it and I was doing so well.
[00:02:14] Oh god, no way. And then all of a sudden here we are.
[00:02:19] Eight everything.
[00:02:22] I bet you do well. Do you have a recording snack to get you through this terrible time?
[00:02:28] I have no snack.
[00:02:31] I have tea that's it.
[00:02:35] That makes sense, that makes sense. Well I hope the tea is very soothing.
[00:02:40] It's helping a little bit. It is very fancy tea. It's peach robius.
[00:02:45] Oh god, that's amazing.
[00:02:47] It is really good. I needed something to win.
[00:02:52] Well, do we have any news? I know we don't have any fan mail this time around.
[00:02:57] It's not really news but I finally looked at the calendar again for like the first time in three months and as of recording we're officially two months out from the start of the new season.
[00:03:08] And my body has just begun to vibrate and it will continue that until we have the animation that's going to hurt us all.
[00:03:21] Yep, yep, yep. Oh boy. Time is moving too quickly.
[00:03:25] It's bonkers like can we like slow down just to tag?
[00:03:29] Can we speed up at least for like the next week?
[00:03:34] Yeah, let's speed up through the next week and then slow down.
[00:03:38] Yeah, because I really want my car.
[00:03:41] Yeah, yeah, serve your car.
[00:03:43] Yeah, it's crazy that you still don't have it.
[00:03:49] My car troubles. I am cursed.
[00:03:52] We can do an entire podcast on your car troubles.
[00:03:55] Yeah, I need lightning minkwing to just like flat me across the bay.
[00:04:00] Oh lord.
[00:04:05] Maybe that'll get rid of all the bad karma I have with cars. I don't know.
[00:04:13] That is an amazing mental image. Thank you.
[00:04:17] You're welcome.
[00:04:18] Well, this week we're covering episode six of my hero academia season four and unpleasant talk.
[00:04:25] And if you number this the way that crunchy roll does, this is episode 69.
[00:04:31] Nice.
[00:04:34] And in the manga that is part of chapter one 34 and then all of chapters 135 and 136.
[00:04:42] So I'm going to lead us through a synopsis then handed over to Maria for a science corner.
[00:04:47] Then Nicole is going to jump in for discussion topics, manga differences and Easter eggs.
[00:04:52] And then we will wrap up the episode with our big spoiler section.
[00:04:56] So getting into the synopsis this one's a little quicker, a little bit quicker than the last two.
[00:05:04] Basically everything we saw in the last two episodes comes together in this one.
[00:05:09] So Izuku, Kyroshima, Ocho and Sue.
[00:05:13] Leave for their work studies realize that they're all going to the same location when they shouldn't be or when they don't typically.
[00:05:21] And they all end up attending the same meeting and realize they're going to be working together on the same mission.
[00:05:27] Since the heroes, they're all working under have been assigned to the shea his like I mission along with a few other heroes including grand torino.
[00:05:36] So turns out this is what he was up to.
[00:05:39] And I saw one.
[00:05:42] And I was like, I'm not sure if it's a fan.
[00:05:45] But also that like that whole section, it was just so dramatic.
[00:05:52] And I just asked each other where they were going instead of pointing out, hey, we're going in the same direction. Hey, we're going to the same built just talk.
[00:06:04] But they're teenagers, they got to bring the drama.
[00:06:08] And also we would all be very confused if like the amount of times I have walked with someone and said bye.
[00:06:15] And then we keep walking the same way. Do you know where that is?
[00:06:19] It is so awkward.
[00:06:22] Agreed, agreed.
[00:06:24] So during this meeting everyone learns that the quirk cancelling bullet harms a victim's quirk factor.
[00:06:31] So Tomaki, who got hit with the bullet was able to recover from this one and regain use of his quirk.
[00:06:38] But future versions might take away someone's quirk permanently.
[00:06:42] Yeah, I love how he just he just raised his hand and it was a huff like how lucky darling sweet.
[00:06:50] But I did personally love the little world building explainer from Isola about the quirk gene expression versus actual genetic damage or deletion.
[00:07:01] Like, I don't know why it was so nice. Maybe it was because it was in Is always voice.
[00:07:08] But I enjoyed it.
[00:07:10] Isawa should have been teaching us all biology.
[00:07:13] Every subject ever.
[00:07:15] I probably would have actually paid more attention if he was.
[00:07:21] And we also learn that the bullets contain human blood and cells, possibly from ari who they think is overhaul's daughter and thus might have inherited his quirk because remember overhaul can do that thing where he destroys something and then rebuild it so.
[00:07:38] And so this segway is into everyone learning about ari situation which really brings down the mood.
[00:07:49] It really does yeah adds an extra dark layer of concern and caution to a mission that was already complicated.
[00:07:58] Yes, but I must say whoever did the artwork of overhaul and ari it was magnificent good job.
[00:08:06] It was so good.
[00:08:08] Also, everyone was so.
[00:08:11] And so just like gobsmacked about the idea that there might be blood or some sort of human cells in the bullets but like have they never heard of Henry at a lax or any kind of genetic.
[00:08:30] Just genetic work or vaccines or anything like that.
[00:08:34] But then I thought maybe it's just me being.
[00:08:38] And certainly desensitized to that side of body horror.
[00:08:44] Yeah, I don't think we really interact with places on the internet that are worried about things like people intentionally spreading their aids.
[00:08:56] As someone who directly works in the gene therapy field back.
[00:09:02] I actually have to worry about blood transmissions a lot.
[00:09:07] Yeah, it's not something the average person would be around.
[00:09:13] Yeah, there's legitimate concerns and then there's also a bunch of fear mongering on the internet.
[00:09:18] That's true.
[00:09:20] Anyway, moving along from that downer of a subject.
[00:09:24] We do also learn that the two giant villains who we thought were just fighting while they were drunk or something.
[00:09:33] They were actually involved in the wider story arc because apparently one of the villains had ingested the same sort of power up drug or something that the blade guy did.
[00:09:48] It's a little disappointing that they weren't just two dudes having it out on the street.
[00:09:54] I mean, they still were just one guy was roided up.
[00:09:58] That's true.
[00:09:59] So instead of a drunk fight, it was a drunk steroid fights.
[00:10:05] Yeah, my brain yeah.
[00:10:06] I mean, so there's still actual justification to be bad guys.
[00:10:11] Incredibly low level.
[00:10:13] That being, if it's causing harm to the by by standards.
[00:10:19] Oh yeah, no, sure like especially with them being gigantic.
[00:10:22] I'm just saying like these guys were not masterminds they were just a bunch of idiots out on the streets.
[00:10:26] I wouldn't call them villains like that feels little little too much.
[00:10:33] But anyway, the episode ends with a post credit scene of Erie and her new caretaker who is trying to be extra nice to her so she won't run away again.
[00:10:43] And Erie thinks about he's about Izuku and how he was kind to her in a way no one has ever been before.
[00:10:51] Yeah, this whole episode is a bummer.
[00:10:53] It's just a downer after downer.
[00:10:55] Also this caretaker for whatever reason is named here taker 69a according to the subtitles.
[00:11:04] But more importantly, I am concerned that his hair is very similar to Denky's and we never get an explanation about that and I'm concerned.
[00:11:14] I am 100% certain that Denky is exactly the kind of character to have a weird ass uncle who is this dude.
[00:11:22] Okay, yes, okay, that is that is newly canon. Yes, I agree.
[00:11:27] Like he's like a cousin or something and everyone's like we don't we don't talk about him.
[00:11:32] We don't talk about Bruno.
[00:11:35] He's Bruno.
[00:11:37] He's Bruno but evil.
[00:11:40] Okay, also I actually figured out why for whatever reason this season's animation of Izuku feels like so weird and so off to me for whatever reason is you could especially in the end credits like sequence he just looks like frickin sponge Bob square pants to me.
[00:11:58] The whole season is ruined. I don't know why they had to go this route.
[00:12:05] I don't see it but that's hilarious. Yeah, me either.
[00:12:09] I don't know he's got the big eyes of the big stupid smile.
[00:12:12] He's just.
[00:12:13] But he's always on his nose.
[00:12:15] But there is here.
[00:12:16] I don't know that's what it's this season specifically they altered the animation or they brought on a new Izuku lead drawer person and it's just sponge Bob and I'm fine.
[00:12:30] I'm normal.
[00:12:33] Oh, poor Nicole hold on one second Lucifer has finally realized that the door is closed and she's breaking out so I gotta go let her out.
[00:12:43] Alright, so moving on to some things of note. So this is our first introduction to rock lock who is amazing and his questions about why there are teenagers present is 100% valid and we'll get to it but not in this episode because we get to it later he seems kind of cold but he has good reasons and it'll definitely come up in a future episode.
[00:13:06] Yeah, yeah. So don't be mean to him he's the best also and I feel like we've talked about this not on a podcast episode but he is actually called lock lock in the dub.
[00:13:19] But he's also called lock lock in the subtitles of the dog so I don't know what's going on with the rock lock versus lock lock but it has like spread to the merchandise as well.
[00:13:31] I feel like we need to look a little deeper into that.
[00:13:34] Okay, that's weird because in the selling air right but still is it in like official merch?
[00:13:41] Yeah, the Funko pop that I have is lock lock instead of rock lock.
[00:13:47] Sometimes it's because a certain Japanese words like how they're said sound like like rock lock would sound like lock lock.
[00:13:57] Right, right.
[00:13:59] It's just honestly like a translation error and the translation error got too big so they're like fuck it.
[00:14:07] Well he's got two names now I guess yes he's he's just that amazing he has two names okay.
[00:14:14] Also, I would have been on his side in this meeting like why why are we why do we have to stop to explain the hero LinkedIn for these children who should already know what hero LinkedIn is.
[00:14:26] Also this meeting could have been it could have been an email but that's just me.
[00:14:34] I actually think otherwise so I think that this is one meeting that needed to be in person because they need to see their allies first of all and second of all there was a lot of relevant information that they couldn't have gotten.
[00:14:49] And there was going to be a lot of questions asked and as a person who has been on a thread where I have nothing to do with it and I'm just watching.
[00:14:59] People ask questions it's really fucking annoying.
[00:15:04] So yes, the need to be in person yeah that would have been a really fucking long email chain and I love fat gum with all my heart but I know he replies all every single time.
[00:15:15] Oh yeah, it's his only flaw.
[00:15:20] Yeah unfortunately I must agree there was like just so much info and actually I was kind of pleasantly surprised that they like really grilled night eye like they did not take his word for anything and they wanted him to provide like actual evidence.
[00:15:36] And I was like nice they're finally like using their brains and not just running off half cocked to go blow some shit up.
[00:15:44] True true it was nice when they were all mean tonight I became his he deserves it.
[00:15:51] And then of course during the meeting, Izuku and Mirio reaffirmed their commitment to saving airy there they were so dramatic but I do love how they like both put all the pieces together before everyone else step like they were they were several steps ahead especially poor him Boke.
[00:16:10] And he didn't know where it was.
[00:16:13] Yeah here is just that we're thinking he's going to go punch someone and everyone and all the villains and now he's back with all these intellectuals.
[00:16:22] He's like I don't know what's going on.
[00:16:26] Fucking intellectuals.
[00:16:29] Oh yeah welcome to straddle.
[00:16:31] Oh my god.
[00:16:32] Strategy.
[00:16:33] And then during the course of the meeting, I think it was it isawa who asked night eye to use his quirk to see like how the mission would end or something.
[00:16:45] Yeah yeah he's like night eye this is great but you could you could make this a whole lot shorter and why not.
[00:16:54] But night eye refused to use his quirk to see the future of a mission because he doesn't want to predict someone's death again he's a he a little traumatized.
[00:17:03] A little bit but also sir your galley hands are comfortably on display again also dude you made the whole meeting uncomfortable with your dramatic.
[00:17:17] Oh my god I was actually here for it. I was like yes this is the homosexual pining that I know I was here for it too and also I just realized like this entire little section with a lot of for warning.
[00:17:34] Yeah just that little bit.
[00:17:36] Oh yeah 100% yeah oh night eye you're so great when you're sad.
[00:17:43] The only time you're acceptable is when you're angsty yep yep when you're being emotionally tortured.
[00:17:52] So night eye finally admits that he's you could is just like to sheet yeah dude no fucking wonder yeah yeah and apparently so is fat gone I'm like fat gone is being very to she in this.
[00:18:05] And I'm here for it.
[00:18:07] Yeah the fact of is like there's a kid that needs my protection must protect.
[00:18:14] I was going to say that way more dramatically but like we're not trying to have fuck up my vocal cords today.
[00:18:21] Yeah please don't.
[00:18:24] The sickness is already doing its thing I don't need out anymore to 100% 100%.
[00:18:31] So the other kids get really fucking depressed when they learn about ari you know of course understandably and I saw it does a really great job of like comforting them and pumping them up and being like it's cool we know what's going on we're going to get her.
[00:18:48] And more importantly he's so fucking hot when he does that like sir how dare you and your jawline.
[00:18:58] Yeah yeah absolutely hot I was also very happy that this was mentioned because last time.
[00:19:03] How many mentioned it.
[00:19:06] I got angry.
[00:19:08] Also it was very sweet I thoroughly enjoyed this little bit.
[00:19:12] Yeah that's really cute.
[00:19:14] That being said though he also wanted to suspend their work studies entirely because a this particular mission is going to be pretty fucking dangerous and be several of them have a habit of acting without.
[00:19:27] Thinking he's a good.
[00:19:33] Also is this our first official problem child reference.
[00:19:37] I think so because he really only becomes the problem child after he and Katsuki have their little homo riding up down drag out.
[00:19:48] So yeah he has officially been deemed the problem child.
[00:19:53] And I'm still mad they didn't like include all the little panels of him you know actually being involved in the lead up to this meeting.
[00:20:03] But it really doesn't actually negate the effectiveness of his pep talk in this moment I just want him to have all the airtime ever.
[00:20:12] All right well that is it for the episode.
[00:20:16] Maria science corner.
[00:20:18] Yeah.
[00:20:21] So I'm going to try to get through this as quickly as possible.
[00:20:27] So they are just casually introducing bio terrorism in this.
[00:20:33] Everything is great.
[00:20:36] Yeah.
[00:20:37] Just casually just sprinkling it in it's fine.
[00:20:41] Yeah as a as a lot of this episode is still filling in the gaps I won't talk about that.
[00:20:49] Instead I'm going to explain why the bullets are considered fire terrorism so bio terrorism is exactly as it sounds it's a biological weapon created out of living organic material.
[00:21:03] So most people think of viruses such as smallpox being dropped on Native American.
[00:21:13] Or bacteria such as anthrax also check your mail.
[00:21:20] I can tell you how to live your just never open your mailbox.
[00:21:26] What could possibly be in there that's so important.
[00:21:29] Yeah.
[00:21:32] But in reality it can also include human cells.
[00:21:37] So one such thing that could that would be like actively affecting people with HIV.
[00:21:43] Oh yeah.
[00:21:45] Knowing it would cause a severe detriment to the people that are on track or injecting people with cancer as cells.
[00:21:53] Let me let me just rephrase that actively expressing cancerous cells because as Nicole mentioned previously heal ourselves don't do that.
[00:22:08] Right.
[00:22:09] So they're they're fine but is there detrimental yes.
[00:22:14] So all of these are considered bio terrorism given that they are actively targeting particular sets of people.
[00:22:21] So yeah, so fun remember can't be safe.
[00:22:27] And just don't open your mail and don't be a colonizer like for Columbus.
[00:22:33] Yep. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Just don't give dirty ass blankets to people you're probably fine.
[00:22:38] Yeah. You knew how dirty they were too.
[00:22:43] They knew.
[00:22:45] All right, so moving on to discussion topics we're going to we're going to lighten the mood just a little bit with sweet little dumb baby Kershima.
[00:22:53] Oh my god he's so adorable and so oblivious and he has absolutely no clue what's going on but he is just he's always so happy to help.
[00:23:03] And I love him so much.
[00:23:06] Also his crush on Izuku continues unabated despite all of his other crushes and honestly who could blame him because Izuku is like the epitome of everything he thinks is cool.
[00:23:18] And like of course, Carrie thinks that him like networking with like well known heroes is hot.
[00:23:28] One because it is and two it's Izuku so everything he does is hot for Kershima.
[00:23:33] It really is. It's so funny.
[00:23:36] Yeah, Izuku is just out here collecting all the different types of dog boys that he had the pommie a golden retriever.
[00:23:44] He has a cat.
[00:23:47] God, what is his name? He's a chihuahua.
[00:23:51] Chihuahua.
[00:23:54] Oh god, bomb legs guy. I have my brain isn't working.
[00:24:00] Bomb legs guy.
[00:24:02] Are you talking about Eda?
[00:24:03] Eda yes.
[00:24:06] I'm not sure if he's a chihuahua.
[00:24:09] No, no, no, no, no that dude is a doberman.
[00:24:13] Okay, don't I mean doberman or giant chihuahua.
[00:24:17] Oh good.
[00:24:19] He is not a doberman. He is too anxious for his own good.
[00:24:22] Yeah, have you met dobermans?
[00:24:24] No.
[00:24:25] I have it personally.
[00:24:28] Dobermans are basically enormous chihuahvas.
[00:24:32] They are very fast.
[00:24:34] They are very fast and they're very scary sometimes.
[00:24:39] All right, moving along from Kyrgyzma and all the dogs of class one a.
[00:24:46] A burden shared is a burden.
[00:24:48] Have and how dare you phrase that so well for.
[00:24:53] Yeah, I just figured like, you know, the other kids knowing about a re.
[00:24:57] Yeah, I think that's what he's saying.
[00:24:59] I think that's what he's saying.
[00:25:01] You know, now that means that he has people he can talk to and he's not alone with his uh,
[00:25:05] spiraling thoughts anymore so that's good at least like they're miserable but they're miserable together.
[00:25:10] So yes.
[00:25:11] And for some reason brains like that.
[00:25:14] Also double good because like even though myrio knew everything,
[00:25:19] he doesn't strike me as the type of person that Yuzuku would like be open and vulnerable with.
[00:25:26] He said they don't know each other like that.
[00:25:28] Yeah, like he is his senpai but also he's myrio so it's like yeah they're not trauma bonded yet.
[00:25:34] Yeah, yet.
[00:25:36] And a final discussion topic is the fact that regret changes nothing and how dare you come for me?
[00:25:45] It wasn't my fault.
[00:25:47] I literally just read that as raw threats.
[00:25:50] Yeah.
[00:25:51] No regrets.
[00:25:54] But yeah, this did not come from me.
[00:25:57] This came from Nezure when she was trying to comfort myrio and you know of course it was Nezure so she said it in a very happy bubbly voice and the delivery was a little off but uh yeah she's right like regret can be a useful tool when deciding what action to take but it's not it's an emotion.
[00:26:15] It's not an action in and of itself and like getting stuck in regret, like getting stuck in any other emotion will prevent you from acting.
[00:26:24] Yeah, why do you got to come for me like this? Apparently regret is one of my problem emotions that I didn't know it.
[00:26:30] Thank you anyway.
[00:26:32] Uh in all seriousness regret it's like it is very much like a halting emotion instead of an action emotion which is apparently also a thing.
[00:26:41] I mean, you know, we're reading books that explain psychology in a way that no authority thing or ever did for me as a child growing up.
[00:26:49] I'm fine.
[00:26:51] But if the kids really want to move forward and do whatever they can for a re they do have to feel process and move along from that regret because it is just going to keep them stuck.
[00:27:03] So a good way to do that is to talk about it with your friends who finally know what's going on.
[00:27:08] Thank God.
[00:27:09] Vulnerability.
[00:27:12] Anyway, who needs vulnerability really who needs it? Why is it so necessary for mental well being?
[00:27:20] I know.
[00:27:21] Terrible.
[00:27:22] Oh, there.
[00:27:23] All right.
[00:27:24] So moving along to manga differences and I completely missed the fact that part of chapter one 34 was supposed to be included.
[00:27:29] So it's fine.
[00:27:30] So for 135.
[00:27:32] So it does start with what are the little information panels and this one is about Kira Shima.
[00:27:38] And apparently his weak spot in a fight is his chin right after he releases his heartening quirk so uppercuts are just his kryptonite just for everybody to know.
[00:27:52] And then he's like, I had this really funny mental image of like Izuku accidentally punching him.
[00:28:00] And just like, you're flying off into the distance as a rock and becomes a comment.
[00:28:07] Yeah, let's go.
[00:28:08] Yeah.
[00:28:09] Let's see rocket.
[00:28:10] Oh man, that's great.
[00:28:11] I had a very different image of Kira Shima.
[00:28:14] That being his weak spot because he's ticklish there.
[00:28:17] Yes, that also works.
[00:28:19] Yes.
[00:28:20] That's amazing.
[00:28:22] All right, and we do also learn that centipeter who is night eyes other sidekick he was also a winner in the fan art contest that we got.
[00:28:31] And so I think that's what I think is really interesting.
[00:28:41] And the original artist was named Tetsuya Ohera, and I want to believe that they are related to Miguel Ohera, but I don't think that's.
[00:28:51] I think that's what I'm being absolutely despised.
[00:28:55] But he's so good at his job.
[00:28:59] Oh man, I just listened to his voice.
[00:29:01] Yeah, it's his voice in the in the dub.
[00:29:05] He has a very like helium sounding voice for whatever reason.
[00:29:09] So that's nice.
[00:29:10] Interesting.
[00:29:11] All right.
[00:29:12] Yeah.
[00:29:13] It sounds like whoever does his voice acting does a shot of helium every time he does a shot of helium.
[00:29:20] Yeah.
[00:29:21] That's perfect.
[00:29:22] Anyway,
[00:29:23] the quirk factors and genes that like attached to your quirk that are mentioned in the dub.
[00:29:44] It's just like the one that I was looking at.
[00:29:52] It's kind of like,
[00:29:54] like, I'm not sure where I was.
[00:29:56] I was little explainer.
[00:29:57] They're called plus alpha elements in the comic and I'm mad about it.
[00:30:03] I don't know why but I just don't like that name.
[00:30:06] I guess he had to have one that didn't go out of the park, one naming convention.
[00:30:13] Yeah, yeah, he failed just one time. He was like, I have to.
[00:30:17] I have to get the joke in. We're all like fine.
[00:30:20] It's not even funny, but okay.
[00:30:24] And anyway, the chapter does end with an information panel on fat gum. Yes sir.
[00:30:30] Oh man, including that he is the age of 29 in this part of the plot.
[00:30:36] He is over eight feet tall. Yes sir.
[00:30:40] And and the little blurb from Horakoshi.
[00:30:44] It's kind of phrased in the way that it sounds like Horakoshi wants to climb on him and also ride him around.
[00:30:53] Sir, we see you like we know.
[00:30:56] I also want to climb and ride him around.
[00:31:02] Honestly, like if fat gum can just hold me like a baby and I can take a nap. I am happy.
[00:31:08] Yeah, yeah.
[00:31:09] And then in chapter one, 36, I saw a calls easy to a little troublemaker instead of problem child.
[00:31:16] Unacceptable that there was any change, but it is it is still cute.
[00:31:20] I like problem child better. I don't know, it's just.
[00:31:23] Yeah, it is. It's just like you.
[00:31:26] It was right there and yet you went with little troublemaker.
[00:31:30] Yeah, a lot of them.
[00:31:33] And then this chapter ends with information on Centipeter.
[00:31:37] We learned that he is 35 and his favorite thing is just fragrances.
[00:31:42] Okay. Okay. He's got a perfume fetish. That's fine.
[00:31:46] It's fine. It's me. It might be something to do with his bug features or.
[00:31:52] Oh yeah, sure. Who knows.
[00:31:54] All right. And now moving along to Easter eggs, we have to get the first one out of the way.
[00:32:00] Yes, we got one frame that is a very, very clear Beatles reference.
[00:32:05] Yeah, yep, yep. And also in the middle of the big intimidating dramatic music part and like.
[00:32:12] Yeah, I think it's just just just saying we're going to a new place that we're apparently going to the same place altogether.
[00:32:18] You don't have to recreate the Beatles about it.
[00:32:21] It's actually kind of funny. So the iconic Beatles shot at the cross rock.
[00:32:27] So for those who don't know for some reason, anime really likes that this shot and it pretty much appears all the time in anime and in manga.
[00:32:36] It's just there. Yeah, it's just there. It's iconic like usually sometimes it's like in the anime proper like with with my hero, but sometimes it's in the end credits.
[00:32:48] Sometimes it's in the beginning credits, but it's always there and you can always find it.
[00:32:55] That's hilarious.
[00:32:59] I just remembered this. There is another Beatles reference in a season or two when we get to somebody's big sad backstory and like why?
[00:33:12] Anyway, so at some point, Kuroshima, like makes a loyalty pledge to Izala because of course he does.
[00:33:21] And I took that as foreshadowing for all the interpersonal drama that comes up in season six, I think it is.
[00:33:30] They just go all they all go balls to the wall for Izala and as I should and also vice versa like this is the start of it.
[00:33:39] Yeah, yep, yep, yep, yep. This is like he they're like he is dad.
[00:33:44] He is our dad.
[00:33:46] And we all go for Izala though.
[00:33:49] It's so easy. He's so handsome.
[00:33:53] And finally our last easter egg, no big spoiler easter eggs this time.
[00:33:57] Shockingly.
[00:33:59] Yeah, I know.
[00:34:00] But I'm 50% sure that the guy like the hero in the teal hoodie.
[00:34:06] He didn't he she they actually I don't know their pronouns.
[00:34:11] I'm pretty sure they also make it appearance in vigilantes.
[00:34:14] But don't want me on that because I did not check my work.
[00:34:18] He just looks more familiar than the rest of the heroes and it bugged me but not enough to actually check on things.
[00:34:26] Yeah, we'll find out eventually I guess.
[00:34:29] Maybe.
[00:34:30] All right.
[00:34:31] Final comments.
[00:34:33] I feel like we got through that nice and quick for poor Maria.
[00:34:38] Yes, universe please hate me less than that's it just just leave you alone.
[00:34:44] Like for real universe.
[00:34:46] Like we as humans are universe experiencing itself like why would you be mean to one of your perceivers?
[00:34:53] Mm hmm.
[00:34:54] Just give her her fucking car.
[00:34:56] Literally.
[00:34:57] And take away the illness.
[00:34:59] Yes, that's it.
