[00:03:01] but and that's that's why. That soundsillion because he wants to save a million people. Because he's a dork. He is, and I love it. But I do have to mention that there is an adorable lesbian furry couple at the very start of the episode,

[00:04:24] and now I demand a spin-off about them.

[00:04:27] Please and thank you, Horikoshi. And Overhaul tries to take little girl whose name is Aerie and leave, and Izuku tries to stop him because he knows something ain't right. Like, she's clearly been hurt. It's pretty obvious that she's terrified of Overhaul. He's like, I don't like this. This isn't good. But Mirio forces him to drop it and let her go so that they can go tell Naidai

[00:05:41] and figure out what to do about it from there.

[00:05:44] Yeah, yeah, Izuku's got dramatic. Also, Overhull says in the dub, like around that moment, that they, meaning like the heroes, they're all infected with hero syndrome. And how dare Overhull of all people come up with such a good moniker for all of their societal issues?

[00:07:02] That's true.

[00:07:03] But Overhull is a delicate spoiled princess.

[00:07:05] Anything he doesn't like, he wants to get rid of.

[00:07:08] Yeah. and all their cavities just as a side effect of unsplatting them. Bro, please. Mm-hmm. Career counseling is needed in this entire world. Just imagine the illnesses that could be cured, like maybe even cancer. Yes, exactly. All he has to do is just kill you real quick and then unkill you,

[00:08:26] That would be so nice. jump cuts in this episode. There's a lot going on. There's so much going on, my lord. So anyway, we cut back to Overhaul and he prepares to torture Aerie. There's like a scary dark room with a chair that he straps her into. We don't know exactly what's going on at this point. But we do learn that she's somehow the crux of whatever his plans are.

[00:09:42] Like she's super key to it.

[00:09:44] And then we cut to the next day and we're back at UA. Also, at this point, All Might is doing his little hot guy jog. I feel like he was wearing Nikes because there's the swoosh on his sneakers. So like, wow. Yeah, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised. What's more American than Nikes? Ooh, colonialism.

[00:11:00] That's like actually an ad placement because I'm pretty sure that swoosh is copyrighted.

[00:11:05] So they must have had to get permission. that Niteye and All Might broke up because Niteye predicted All Might's death right after he got that big old injury in his side. But All Might didn't listen and he continued to abuse his own body in the name of heroism, so obviously that drove a bit of a wedge in their relationship.

[00:12:21] And we also learned that Niteye's foresight has never been wrong before, and this only They're so annoying. There are too many variables for them to ever be accurate in any meaningful way. My autism doesn't like it Exactly So a short span of time like an hour is way more predictable than something years in the making Of course, he's going to be more accurate that way which is probably why all of his predictions have been a hundred percent

[00:13:44] Also, Toshi, please take a fucking nap

[00:14:45] He has recently had a change of heart and he does want to take better care of himself because he wants to keep living so he can help Izuku.

[00:14:48] And Izuku cries about this because he is a sweet baby boy with so many feelings and he

[00:14:54] vows to help All Might Fight Fate.

[00:15:00] But also, like, of course, Toshi doesn't just want to, like, yep. Brain is just connecting all the things and being like, here's a thing. What does it mean? I don't know, but here it is. We're definitely on some silly shit right now. Oh God, yeah. Okay, anyways. So Izuku picked up Toshi's dad senses

[00:16:23] and really said, I must protect my child.

[00:17:22] I don't know. But anyway, Mirio was like, you should have experience with this.

[00:17:28] And Isek was like, um, don't worry about it.

[00:17:31] I definitely didn't do something super illegal with my best friends and almost kill a guy.

[00:17:40] Also, my internship supervisor was definitely not more preoccupied with being this particular I want all the food. Anyway. Anyway. He just trailed off all thinking about food. Good God. Oh, this episode is going to be a bitch to edit. So then in the flashback scene between Nai-Dai and All Might, I swear to God, this was pulled straight from a romance film.

[00:19:03] Like, yes, I just spent the last episode not deep. It is not deep at all. Also, All Might is like, trying to get back into the notes, All Might is like the only person that NaiDai like really actually cares about, at least at this point in his characterization.

[00:20:21] And how dare he make it so like evident and obvious and well done in his little voice

[00:20:27] breaks.

[00:20:28] And I'm not going to discussion topics, we're going to first talk about how Mirio unfortunately kind of has to prevent Izuku from like quote unquote saving Eri in this moment. Yeah, um, so fun fact I haven't actually seen much fandom discussion about this which is surprising because it seems like it's kind of the perfect

[00:21:41] opportunity for like rage farming, you know and being like it's pretty clear but it's also fiction so you know in real life it's more complicated. But in this context if Izuku had insisted on taking Eri with him you know not only

[00:23:00] would he have alerted um overhaul to be more permanently effective. fiction. Yeah, they're kids and it's fiction. But yeah, yeah, all that is to say, it's cool that we didn't see all that rage farming. That means people mostly got it, I think. So thank God. Yay. All right. So moving along from that very heavy discussion point to a less heavy or

[00:26:41] You know, like he's got a very loving mom, he lives in a stable home,

[00:26:43] he doesn't really have much experience

[00:26:44] with these kinds of situations.

[00:26:47] And that definitely puts him at a disadvantage

[00:26:50] because sometimes, you know, morality gets a little complex

[00:26:53] and trying to do the right thing

[00:26:54] could cause more harm than good.

[00:26:56] And that's a hard pill to swallow.

[00:26:59] Yes, it's a very large horse pill to swallow.

[00:27:02] Also, they just threw. Now that anyway, but he's in his head. He's like, of course he fucking chose this little green dweeb. They're, they're just like each other. I hate him so much because he reminds me of the man I love who forsook me so long ago. Horikoshi, please. Just write a shuju next. It can be a horror shuju. You can do that. But please.

[00:29:25] And then he just gets slapped in the face with the reminder of, oh yeah, death is also a thing that is always lurking for us too. Great. Awesome. This is awesome.

[00:29:31] Yeah, Izuku got hit with a ton of bricks of life lessons. Like they just kept stacking

[00:29:37] onto each other. He probably has a skyscraper at font formatting. It wasn't even going to mention this half night? I waited all the way to this point and no mention. Okay okay fair yes he was he was very hot in all of his forms in this episode. I think my

[00:33:25] twist the very good advice about not making presumptions about what goes on behind closed doors. It was very AFO of him and I hate him.

[00:33:28] And then for chapter 130, we actually learned that the scene in the classroom towards the middle of the episode actually takes place a full week after the patrol had happened.

[00:33:38] That would have been good to know.

[00:33:40] Sorry, Zuko has just That's like a pertinent point. Yeah, very pertinent. Root. And then the dub changed Nai-Dai's advice from trying to find a bright, strong, fresh face for All Might's successor to someone who's brave and cheerful.

[00:35:00] And I feel like, I don't know. I don't like either of you.

[00:35:05] It's like, okay, I guess.

[00:36:06] kind of have to use it. I don't care. Also, I mean, I guess that would be good for the kids, like, depending on how they were

[00:36:10] reintroduced to USJ, like they could have gotten like some

[00:36:14] mental closure. Yeah, that's that's true, I guess. But also,

[00:36:18] I don't trust Nezu to have done that because he's a rat. Anyway,

[00:36:21] that's true.

[00:36:23] All right, all the other eggs were actually spoilery. So we

[00:36:26] are going to move along to the. We refuse. Also connected to that, he actually has a line in this scene that is directly called back to

[00:37:41] in one of the future chapters and it's like,

[00:37:43] I won't be killed, I'll keep on living.

[00:37:46] I won't let them end me. walking away from him. But I believe it is canon that this is where Toshi got the idea for his iron bat suit. He just needed to meet all his little zygotes for the right names and the right tools. That's canon now. Yeah, 100% fully thinks his little zygotes.

Yeah, it's honestly the season and the arc where it goes from like kind of a more run of the mill shown in and at least from what I've seen and becomes one that is it just makes a lot more commentary and becomes a lot more, I don't know, there's a there's a word
