Hey y'all! Join us as we discuss the My Hero Academia episode "Japanese Hero Billboard Chart", including an emotional miasma of chaotic despair, government tea, and arson rage rooms. Want more? Visit our website, myheroanalysis.com. Thanks for listening!
[00:00:00] Hey y'all, this podcast contains cursing, references to alcohol, marijuana, and other drugs, and thirsty comments about adult characters. Thanks for listening!
[00:00:10] Hey y'all, this is My Hero Analysis, a podcast about My Hero Academia, aka Boku no Hero Academia. We are three grown adults who mind Japanese children's cartoons for serotonin because God fucking knows our brains are not making it naturally.
[00:00:40] Nope, nope. Hey y'all, I'm Fern. I am NOT doing great! I am not doing good at all.
[00:00:51] Not just the election, but also, trigger warning for animal death, I had to put Lucifer down because her kidneys just kept failing and wouldn't get better, so...
[00:01:04] Yay!
[00:01:05] Yay, boo!
[00:01:07] Blech!
[00:01:09] We're off to a great start, aren't we?
[00:01:11] Oh, Lucifer.
[00:01:13] Ugh, my poor baby, I miss her so much.
[00:01:15] I know.
[00:01:16] I'm Nicole. I am also not doing great. I want to commit so many arsons.
[00:01:23] Mm-hmm.
[00:01:24] Also, I haven't said it on the podcast, but just so y'all know what mind space I've been in before the election, I also had to trigger warning for a pet death.
[00:01:34] Mm-hmm.
[00:01:35] Put sweet, sweet baby angel pickles to sleep as well a little while ago. So, it's been a terrible season for everything, everywhere, all the time.
[00:01:48] Mm-hmm.
[00:01:49] I still haven't seen that movie.
[00:01:50] Yep, yep.
[00:01:51] I'm Maria, and I am avoiding the interwebs.
[00:01:55] Yeah.
[00:01:56] Yeah.
[00:01:56] Or reading a lot of Reddit stories.
[00:01:58] Yeah.
[00:01:59] And watching a lot of bones.
[00:02:00] Like, that has been in my life for two weeks.
[00:02:04] Yes.
[00:02:04] Good idea, good idea. We'll let you know when we need you, but for now, just isolate.
[00:02:10] Yes.
[00:02:11] Avoid it.
[00:02:12] It's terrible.
[00:02:13] The best possible thing you can do.
[00:02:15] I am excited, though.
[00:02:15] The one good thing that's happening is I am going to the Ren Faire this weekend.
[00:02:21] Ooh.
[00:02:22] And I am doing their bar crawl, so I'm gonna be drunk all morning.
[00:02:27] Oh my god.
[00:02:28] And I am so excited.
[00:02:29] That sounds amazing.
[00:02:31] You are gonna have so much fun.
[00:02:32] Yeah, and probably spend a lot of money, but we're not gonna talk about that.
[00:02:35] That's fine.
[00:02:37] Money doesn't count right now.
[00:02:39] You know what?
[00:02:40] That's fair.
[00:02:41] That's very fair.
[00:02:42] Oh god.
[00:02:43] One second, I have to cough.
[00:02:45] This throat coat is not doing its job.
[00:02:48] How dare.
[00:02:49] Uh, yeah.
[00:02:50] Also, I'm sick.
[00:02:53] Oh.
[00:02:55] Still?
[00:02:55] Yeah, I mean, I'm better, but...
[00:02:58] How dare the virus.
[00:02:59] I'm not even sure this is a virus.
[00:03:01] This just might be allergies.
[00:03:02] We'll see.
[00:03:03] It's just crud.
[00:03:06] Yeah, just crud.
[00:03:08] Um, but yeah, so...
[00:03:09] Obviously, this episode isn't going to be released till December 2nd.
[00:03:14] Um, but we're recording it on November 13th, which was just after the presidential election in the US.
[00:03:22] So, uh, that explains our...
[00:03:25] Where we're at right now.
[00:03:27] The vibe.
[00:03:28] Our...
[00:03:28] Our emotional miasma of chaotic despair.
[00:03:32] Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
[00:03:33] Mm-hmm.
[00:03:33] So I'm gonna jump on my soapbox for just a second.
[00:03:37] Um, if you don't wanna listen to it, skip ahead, like, I don't know, five minutes.
[00:03:41] Sure.
[00:03:41] Yeah, so...
[00:03:43] Obviously, things didn't turn out the way we hoped.
[00:03:46] Um, but personally, I stand by our previous optimism in earlier episodes.
[00:03:53] And I'm not removing our comments from those episodes, because I think we had good reason to feel the way we did.
[00:03:59] Yeah.
[00:03:59] And I think we have a good reason to feel blindsided.
[00:04:02] Yeah.
[00:04:03] I am seeing, right now, a lot of people, like, really fired up.
[00:04:06] They wanna, like, you know, do stuff for the cause.
[00:04:10] You know, stand up, fight back, all of that.
[00:04:12] I'm assuming that by the time this episode comes out, like, that enthusiasm is probably flagging.
[00:04:18] Which is understandable.
[00:04:20] Um, A, because civic action is really fucking boring.
[00:04:27] It is, y'all. It really, really is.
[00:04:29] It really is boring.
[00:04:30] It really is, like, like...
[00:04:31] The history books make it seem, like, super-duper harrowing, and, like, everything always happens all at once.
[00:04:37] But it's really only just, like, a few key moments sprinkled over a period of years.
[00:04:43] And everything, in the meantime, is just waiting and paperwork.
[00:04:48] Mm-hmm.
[00:04:49] Um, so, yeah, your energy levels, you know, they're gonna go up, they're gonna go down.
[00:04:54] It's totally normal.
[00:04:55] Don't need to feel bad about it.
[00:04:57] But, in case anyone's looking for, you know, a little bit more enthusiasm, wanting to get pumped back up, I do know that people find it easier to act when they have explicit instructions.
[00:05:06] So, if you're back to feeling exhausted and hopeless and powerless, here are some things that you can do right now that will make a difference.
[00:05:15] And they're all free.
[00:05:16] Yay.
[00:05:17] Yay.
[00:05:18] So, my first suggestion is actually kind of the hardest one.
[00:05:23] It's so hard.
[00:05:24] We're starting hard and we're getting easier as we go down.
[00:05:27] But the first one is to start standing up for others, especially if you're in a position of privilege.
[00:05:32] Um, this does involve taking risks, social risks, by calling each other out, including people you care about, and monitoring each other.
[00:05:41] And, like, don't get me wrong, like, you don't need to make, like, big, eloquent speeches.
[00:05:45] You don't need to debate anyone.
[00:05:47] You also don't need to change their minds.
[00:05:50] Um, in fact, you're probably not going to.
[00:05:52] If you do, the only thing you want to do is make sure that people face immediate social consequences for doing something fucked up.
[00:06:00] So, like, just say, hey, knock it off or stop it.
[00:06:04] Or, honestly, sometimes if I can't reach for words, I can still make sounds and I will make just a loud-ass buzzer noise and just keep doing that.
[00:06:15] And it has to be consistent and it has to be immediate.
[00:06:18] Um, otherwise it doesn't work.
[00:06:20] It's like with cats.
[00:06:21] They don't understand consequences of their actions unless it happens, like, right away.
[00:06:27] Um, but yeah, all you need to do is provide an immediate negative social consequence, do it consistently, they'll get it eventually.
[00:06:35] Mm-hmm.
[00:06:36] Um, because people are social and they will modify their behavior according to social cues.
[00:06:42] We just have to give them the social cues.
[00:06:43] And they have to be really simple and easy to understand.
[00:06:47] Like a buzzer noise.
[00:06:48] Exactly.
[00:06:50] Or just quit being weird.
[00:06:54] Oh, my God.
[00:06:55] The next time your uncle just goes off on some rant about Trump, just tell him that no one wants to hear about his weird cult.
[00:07:01] Yeah.
[00:07:02] No one wants to hear your weird theories, uncle.
[00:07:04] Uh-huh.
[00:07:05] And then, like, once you've called it out, the next thing you need to do is start, like, ignoring them because then they'll start, like, craving that attention.
[00:07:15] Like, any attention is good attention to them, even if it's negative.
[00:07:18] Like, they just want your reaction.
[00:07:20] So you have to, like, not give it to them.
[00:07:22] So be like, no, and then pretend they don't exist.
[00:07:26] Until they hopefully have an aneurysm and just kind of keel over for a little bit.
[00:07:30] That'd be great.
[00:07:31] That'd be great.
[00:07:32] Yeah.
[00:07:34] So my second suggestion, slightly less hard, is that we all kind of need to readjust our mindset.
[00:07:42] One of the biggest things is to stop expecting information to come to you and start being more proactive and seeking out information, you know, about questions that you have or things that interest you.
[00:07:56] Like, you have to actually go out and get it.
[00:07:58] And on that note, we all got to stop assuming that we already have all the information we need to make informed decisions.
[00:08:04] And especially, we all need to make sure that we know how to identify misinformation.
[00:08:10] And Gen Z, I'm looking at y'all specifically.
[00:08:14] You're great in many ways.
[00:08:17] Lots of positive aspects about your generation.
[00:08:19] But as far as misinformation goes, y'all fall for it just as quickly as boomers.
[00:08:23] And that's sad.
[00:08:25] It's not good.
[00:08:27] The good news is millennials had the benefit of years of misinformation training when we were in school,
[00:08:33] because computers and, like, group chats were the new thing and everyone was terrified of them.
[00:08:39] So if you need help, you can come to your local friendly millennial and they probably have plenty of information to give you.
[00:08:49] So much information.
[00:08:50] Also, like, y'all can email us with questions.
[00:08:53] We don't mind.
[00:08:54] And then my third suggestion is really kind of an extension of the second, which is just to learn everything you can about your local government and how it works.
[00:09:02] And by local, I mean, like, local, local.
[00:09:04] Like, the lowest level you can find, start there and then go up.
[00:09:10] Because the lower the level it is, the less complicated it's going to be and the easier it's going to be to understand.
[00:09:15] So, like, set yourself up for success.
[00:09:18] You know, you can do things like go to city council meetings, you know, email your local representatives, meet with them personally, you know, look up active political groups in your area, their history, what tactics that they've used to meet their goals, stuff like that.
[00:09:35] And there are two reasons for this.
[00:09:37] One, it's much easier to identify what changes need to be made to a system when you actually understand how the system currently works.
[00:09:47] And this will also give you time to learn, like, which aspects of government might appeal to you or make more sense to you, which then can open doors for you to get more involved if that's something you want to do.
[00:10:00] Because we all just need to be way, way more involved at a local governance level.
[00:10:05] And I know this sounds really time consuming because we all just we're all impatient.
[00:10:10] We want to make things better as quickly as we possibly can.
[00:10:13] We all think we know exactly what needs to happen to make things better.
[00:10:19] But in actually most of us only have a very, very high level understanding of the issues.
[00:10:24] And when we get down to more granular details, that's where people lose the thread because, you know, skipping steps is expensive and time consuming.
[00:10:33] You know, when mistakes are made, you have to first undo the mistake and then do the right thing.
[00:10:38] Like you just wasted so much time.
[00:10:40] So when you take your time, you save time.
[00:10:43] Just keep that in mind.
[00:10:46] You make it sound so boring.
[00:10:49] It is.
[00:10:50] It is really boring.
[00:10:51] Like, that's the thing.
[00:10:52] Like, we all have, you know, these YA fantasies from when we were teenagers.
[00:10:58] Like, we all did that.
[00:11:00] Katniss.
[00:11:03] And, you know, those stories were really useful in a lot of ways.
[00:11:06] But the reality is just it's just it's boring.
[00:11:10] But it can also be fascinating.
[00:11:13] Like, once you find that thing that you really vibe with, learning all the ins and outs about it is really cool.
[00:11:22] And I'm not just saying that because I'm a freaking nerd.
[00:11:26] Are you sure?
[00:11:28] No, really.
[00:11:29] It is.
[00:11:29] It gets really, really interesting.
[00:11:31] And if anyone needs, like, an incentive, there's always tea.
[00:11:35] Oh, yeah.
[00:11:36] There's always the weirdest tea you've ever heard in your life.
[00:11:40] Like, oh, my God.
[00:11:42] Because government is people.
[00:11:44] And people are messy.
[00:11:45] So.
[00:11:46] People are weird.
[00:11:47] And they have the best gossip.
[00:11:50] It's so, so weird.
[00:11:53] So if for no other reason, learn about your local government to find out about your local government's tea.
[00:12:00] Yeah.
[00:12:02] So I'm going to wrap up the little soapbox speech.
[00:12:05] I just want to assure everyone that, you know, no matter how hopeless and exhausted you might feel right now, your efforts did matter.
[00:12:13] And they still do matter, even if you didn't get the result you wanted.
[00:12:17] And if you need a break, take it.
[00:12:21] Go watch Bones.
[00:12:22] Yes.
[00:12:23] Join me.
[00:12:24] If you need help, ask for it.
[00:12:27] Remember, we still have tomorrow and the next day and the day after that.
[00:12:31] We're not being chased by lions.
[00:12:33] It feels like it.
[00:12:34] But, like, none of this stuff is going to happen.
[00:12:37] None of this is going to happen immediately.
[00:12:41] Everything, the good and the bad, it's all going to take time.
[00:12:44] And, yeah, half the country voted for a senile con artist instead of one of the most qualified candidates we've ever had.
[00:12:52] Simply because she's a woman of color or because they have the maturity of a 13-year-old and they just wanted to make the relatives upset.
[00:13:00] But the other half recognized what she had to offer and they voted for her.
[00:13:05] And I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but considering how incredibly racist and misogynistic America is, it's a pretty good statistic.
[00:13:14] So just, you know, keep that in mind.
[00:13:17] Take a breath.
[00:13:18] Go learn about the tea.
[00:13:20] Yes.
[00:13:20] Go learn about the tea.
[00:13:21] And also remember that a lot of the people who voted for him, I've seen that the, like, Google searches, like, right after the election, it, like, spiked for can I change my vote?
[00:13:36] So a lot of people are also regretting their wrong choice in voting for him.
[00:13:42] Yeah, it really sucks because, like, basically it's the equivalent of someone completely bombed the group project.
[00:13:51] They're about to fail the class and then they come to you asking for tutoring.
[00:13:56] Yep.
[00:13:56] And we're going to have to do it.
[00:13:59] Yep.
[00:13:59] Don't got to be happy about it.
[00:14:01] Do it angrily.
[00:14:04] That's allowed, too.
[00:14:06] And, you know, find your little, again, find your niche.
[00:14:09] Mm-hmm.
[00:14:10] Mm-hmm.
[00:14:10] Also, if you're like me and you find the, like, conspiracy light, ticky-talkies comforting, especially how they were, like, the weekend after the election when everyone was kind of, like, recovering and also still mad and they were, like, looking into everything.
[00:14:27] Like, that's fine.
[00:14:29] That's dandy.
[00:14:30] You are entertaining yourself.
[00:14:31] Right?
[00:14:31] But remember.
[00:14:32] I watch them, too.
[00:14:33] Like.
[00:14:34] Yeah.
[00:14:34] But remember.
[00:14:36] We all got a little suspicious Aloysius.
[00:14:39] Yes.
[00:14:40] And I still say we have every right to be suspicious.
[00:14:43] Oh, yeah.
[00:14:43] But we also have to remember there is a line.
[00:14:46] You have to be very aware of where that line is because misinformation is insidious and it hides inside what is comforting and familiar to you.
[00:14:57] Mm-hmm.
[00:14:58] Mm-hmm.
[00:14:59] So, like, again, fantasizing is fun.
[00:15:02] It's just fine and dandy.
[00:15:04] But don't let it get too deep into you.
[00:15:08] Don't start believing everything because that's how we get QAnon.
[00:15:11] And we don't want that.
[00:15:13] We don't want QAnon 2.0, y'all.
[00:15:15] Yeah.
[00:15:16] You're not going to do it better.
[00:15:18] No.
[00:15:19] I promise.
[00:15:20] And we will roast you.
[00:15:22] Yeah.
[00:15:23] Yeah.
[00:15:23] It's, you know, you get in that spiral and you get sucked in.
[00:15:26] You got to do what you got to do.
[00:15:29] Even if it's just, like, throwing your phone in a drawer and then just, like, hiding under your covers.
[00:15:35] That's a better use of your time.
[00:15:37] My system was watch the Tiki-Takis until they started getting a little too, a little out there.
[00:15:44] Or, like, I realized I was watching a lot of them and I'd play Breath of the Wild for four hours straight.
[00:15:50] Mm-hmm.
[00:15:50] It's a balance.
[00:15:52] Yep.
[00:15:52] Yep.
[00:15:52] Also, we should make a rage room where it's arson.
[00:15:57] Yes.
[00:15:57] Yes.
[00:15:58] That is not a safety concern at all.
[00:16:03] Nope.
[00:16:03] We just need a cement room where the fire cannot spread.
[00:16:08] It's fine.
[00:16:09] We don't need to breathe.
[00:16:10] We're good.
[00:16:11] Yep.
[00:16:12] Well, that was way longer than five minutes.
[00:16:14] My bad.
[00:16:15] It's okay.
[00:16:16] Rant over.
[00:16:17] Yay.
[00:16:18] Yay.
[00:16:21] So, Maria, what is your recording snack?
[00:16:24] Please, what sugary goodness are you using to cope?
[00:16:29] Kettle corn.
[00:16:30] Yes.
[00:16:31] I have been eating.
[00:16:32] I don't have one now, but I've been eating, you know, the little holiday sugar cookies that
[00:16:37] Pillsbury has that has, like, the pictures on them for the holidays.
[00:16:40] Yes, I love those.
[00:16:42] They're now safe to eat raw, and I've just been eating the cookies raw.
[00:16:48] Raw.
[00:16:48] Yes.
[00:16:49] Like, as almost like a piece of candy.
[00:16:52] After, like, every 10 minutes, I'm like, cookie, cookie.
[00:16:56] As God intended.
[00:16:57] Yes.
[00:16:58] Yep.
[00:17:00] All right.
[00:17:01] Well, in better news, we do have a little bit of news.
[00:17:04] We got a five-star review from, I believe it's pronounced Rasa, R-A-S-A.
[00:17:10] So, thank you very much.
[00:17:11] It was really awesome.
[00:17:12] It was super appreciated.
[00:17:13] We really needed it.
[00:17:15] Yes.
[00:17:15] It was so nice.
[00:17:18] And by the way, you know, if anyone wants to get a little shout out in the episodes,
[00:17:22] just leave us a review, and we will happily do that, even if the review is really mean.
[00:17:28] Yeah.
[00:17:29] We will try to laugh at you and not cry about it, but no promises.
[00:17:34] Yeah.
[00:17:34] And you can leave a review anywhere you listen to your podcasts, and we'll get the notification,
[00:17:39] but you can also do it on our website, which is myheroanalysis.com.
[00:17:44] All one word, all lowercase.
[00:17:47] All right.
[00:17:47] So, getting into the episode.
[00:17:50] Finally.
[00:17:50] Finally.
[00:17:52] This is not a political podcast, even though I keep trying to make it one.
[00:17:55] It kind of is, though.
[00:17:57] It is a little bit.
[00:17:59] Like, we tried to, like, rein it in, and it's, we might be let loose again.
[00:18:04] We'll see.
[00:18:04] Yeah.
[00:18:05] But this week, we're covering episode 24 of My Hero Academia season 4, Japanese Hero
[00:18:11] Billboard chart, which in the manga is chapters 184 through 186.
[00:18:16] Thanks.
[00:18:16] I'm going to lead us through a synopsis that was mostly written by Nicole, because I spent
[00:18:21] all of my spoons on that freaking soapbox.
[00:18:27] And then we don't have a science corner, so we're going to skip that, and I'll hand it
[00:18:34] over to Nicole for discussion topics, manga differences, and Easter eggs, and then we will wrap up the
[00:18:39] episode with our big spoiler section.
[00:18:41] So, getting into the synopsis, the episode opens at UA, where we learn that Aerie is going to live at UA
[00:18:48] with Aizawa for now, because there is no one else to take care of her.
[00:18:54] Oh, poor baby.
[00:18:56] But we also learn that Aerie's little horn on her forehead grows as her quirk, quote-unquote,
[00:19:02] refills, and if she learns to control her quirk, there's a pretty good chance that Murio could be
[00:19:08] rewound far enough to get his quirk back.
[00:19:10] So, he got some good news.
[00:19:12] Yes, yes.
[00:19:13] But more importantly, we have to talk about what the fuck Murio was wearing, because that was one of the
[00:19:18] ugliest shirts I've ever seen in my life.
[00:19:20] I do not remember what he was wearing, but I probably thought it was awesome.
[00:19:25] It's a red t-shirt buttoned down, and then where it almost looks like they're suspenders, but they're not.
[00:19:32] It was on the shirt of, like, white and black checkerboard.
[00:19:35] So, it was like a bowling shirt, but really fucking ugly.
[00:19:39] That's hilarious.
[00:19:40] I know, like, three lesbians with that shirt.
[00:19:42] Yep.
[00:19:44] Also, I am very curious as to what the foster care slash adoption system looks like in this
[00:19:51] super-powered society, because I feel like it's not great or fun for anyone.
[00:19:55] What does it even look like in Japan?
[00:19:57] I don't know.
[00:19:58] I don't know.
[00:19:59] Zero clue.
[00:20:00] It would probably be some fucked up shit, to be honest.
[00:20:03] Mm-hmm.
[00:20:04] Yeah.
[00:20:04] So, then the wild, wild pussycats appear with Kota, who is the little kid who at first hated
[00:20:13] Izuku, and then Izuku saved his life, and now he, like, worships him.
[00:20:16] So, they all come for a quick visit, and then everyone watches the Heroed Billboard Chart Awards
[00:20:22] ceremony together.
[00:20:23] Also, Tiger apologizes to Bakugo for not protecting him during the camp arc, and that feels like
[00:20:31] it was 25 years ago when it was, like, one season ago.
[00:20:36] So, um, and yet, and yet, my boy still, he can't take an apology or a nice comment.
[00:20:43] He has to be dramatic and angsty about it.
[00:20:45] Mm-hmm.
[00:20:46] Um, also, um, we get a shot of, like, AFO talking about Ragdoll's quirk that he stole, and he
[00:20:53] apologizes for taking it, but he says that he couldn't help himself, and it's so disingenuous
[00:20:59] and so fucked up, and I hate him.
[00:21:02] And yes, all men.
[00:21:04] Mm-hmm.
[00:21:04] Mm-hmm.
[00:21:05] Yeah, there's this one point where he's like, I would love to give it back, but I'm not allowed
[00:21:09] to use my quirk in this prison.
[00:21:11] Sorry.
[00:21:12] It's their fault, not mine.
[00:21:14] Nope.
[00:21:15] I hate.
[00:21:16] Hate.
[00:21:16] Hate.
[00:21:17] Hate.
[00:21:18] Mm-hmm.
[00:21:19] So, as far as the Hero Billboard Chart Awards ceremony goes, I believe there's two every
[00:21:24] year, and, um, this is the first one since, sorry, what?
[00:21:29] I was about to say, who even knows?
[00:21:31] That's, like, a very small minutiae.
[00:21:33] Yeah.
[00:21:34] Um, but anyway, this is the first one since All Might's retirement, and public confidence
[00:21:39] in heroes is dipping, so they're trying to use this ceremony as a way to, like, gain the
[00:21:44] public's trust back, put the heroes front and center, make them say a lot of nice stuff, make
[00:21:50] everyone feel good.
[00:21:51] So, we meet a bunch of new characters, including the top two in the panty-dropping category,
[00:21:57] Hawks and Mirko.
[00:21:59] Yes!
[00:22:02] They're so pretty.
[00:22:03] Um, all right.
[00:22:04] So, I'm gonna go through what the actual rankings were.
[00:22:07] Um, we, we got our favorite dragon lady, Ryukyu, was number 10.
[00:22:11] Queen!
[00:22:12] Queen, yes.
[00:22:14] Um, some old man samurai dude was number 9.
[00:22:16] I don't care about him.
[00:22:18] No one else does either, apparently.
[00:22:22] The hero slash laundry celebrity Wash is number 8, yes.
[00:22:27] Um, Cumbwe Woods apparently got a big spike in his own popularity because he's now number
[00:22:33] 7.
[00:22:33] Yeah, he's still a relatively new hero.
[00:22:36] Yes.
[00:22:36] Very new.
[00:22:37] He has not been around very long, so that's huge for him.
[00:22:40] But also, he deserves it.
[00:22:41] He's sexy as hell.
[00:22:42] Yes.
[00:22:43] And then we have, uh, we have Madly Man, but also a crybaby, Crust, at 6.
[00:22:49] He's also a new character, and he needs to take it down a notch.
[00:22:54] Clearly Kirishima's second favorite hero.
[00:22:56] Clearly.
[00:22:57] Like, they are the same.
[00:23:01] And then we have rabbit hero Mirko as number 5.
[00:23:04] We're gonna talk about her more in a second, because she's amazing.
[00:23:07] Uh, number 4 is Edshot, who we've already met.
[00:23:10] He's the sexy, sexy, thread ninja man.
[00:23:14] Um, and at that point, there was, like, a little conversation, side conversation, uh,
[00:23:19] because they're all talking about team-ups.
[00:23:21] So to remind everyone, Mount Lady, Edshot, and Kamui Woods have just, like, created their
[00:23:26] own agency together, or whatever the fuck it's called.
[00:23:29] Mm-hmm.
[00:23:30] Death Arms is also there, but I don't know if he's actually in their agency or not.
[00:23:34] He's just there, because I think they're, like, friends.
[00:23:37] Yeah.
[00:23:38] Colleagues.
[00:23:38] Um, especially after the sports festival, where they work together.
[00:23:41] Yeah.
[00:23:41] At the very least, they're friends.
[00:23:44] Yeah.
[00:23:44] And then we have number 3 is Best Genus, who is currently on hiatus, because he got fucking
[00:23:50] wrecked at Kamino.
[00:23:51] Mm-hmm.
[00:23:53] Uh, and then we have number 2, Hawks, my favorite, my husband.
[00:23:57] He's such a sexy doofus with so many layers.
[00:24:00] We'll get to it.
[00:24:01] Oh my goodness.
[00:24:02] Um, and I guess since we have to say it, the new number 1 hero is Endeavor, who can suck
[00:24:08] an egg, and he's mad that he didn't win his way to the top like he'd been trying to do
[00:24:14] for, like, 20 whatever years.
[00:24:16] Fuck you.
[00:24:16] Mm-hmm.
[00:24:17] Yeah.
[00:24:17] Blah, blah.
[00:24:18] No one feels bad.
[00:24:19] Nope.
[00:24:20] Ha ha ha.
[00:24:21] All right.
[00:24:22] And then last episode, I mentioned trying to remind me of something that was pertinent
[00:24:27] to what goes on in this episode, and I actually remember what it was.
[00:24:31] Um, so Mirko, the sexy, sexy rabbit lady, is basically who we used to keep stringing
[00:24:37] Fern along.
[00:24:38] Mm-hmm.
[00:24:39] That's what you were talking about.
[00:24:40] Oh, okay.
[00:24:41] Yeah.
[00:24:42] Yeah.
[00:24:43] Yeah.
[00:24:43] They don't show up till now.
[00:24:45] Yep.
[00:24:45] Yep.
[00:24:46] We just kept, we just kept stringing them along as they made their way through the various
[00:24:50] arcs.
[00:24:51] Yeah.
[00:24:51] I was like, where's the rabbit lady?
[00:24:53] And they're like, she's coming soon.
[00:24:54] She's coming soon.
[00:24:55] That happened like four or five times.
[00:24:57] Yep.
[00:24:58] Yep.
[00:24:58] Yep.
[00:24:59] And then Fern was hooked.
[00:25:01] Ugh.
[00:25:02] So we did our due diligence.
[00:25:04] Yes, we did.
[00:25:05] Yeah.
[00:25:05] I was still mad though.
[00:25:06] I mean, that's fair, but we still-
[00:25:09] I was like, I got her for two whole episodes.
[00:25:11] You dicks.
[00:25:15] Also, at one point, Hawks is like jabbering because he's Hawks.
[00:25:19] Um, and I feel like he made a bottom joke to Endeavor and I didn't catch it before now.
[00:25:25] Um, yeah, man, I didn't catch it either.
[00:25:27] I'm going to have to go back and rewatch.
[00:25:28] It's like, it's like, it's really simple.
[00:25:30] It probably isn't even a joke.
[00:25:32] I just have a dirty mind.
[00:25:33] Um, but it was like, what's it finally feel like to be on top?
[00:25:41] Definitely a bottom joke.
[00:25:42] Yep.
[00:25:42] Yep.
[00:25:42] Yep.
[00:25:43] Um, he, he gets, basically he's just bored with all their little sound bites.
[00:25:49] He's in speeches and Edshot hates it.
[00:25:52] I think he loves it a little bit, but he hates it out loud.
[00:25:55] And Miracle loves it.
[00:25:56] Miracle's like all for it.
[00:25:58] Yeah, she's like, fuck shit up, bro.
[00:25:59] Let's go.
[00:26:00] Yes.
[00:26:02] And then, and then when like Hawks gets to his moment to have his little sound bite,
[00:26:08] um, he points out that in purely popularity points, which apparently matters a lot more,
[00:26:15] um, best genus is number one.
[00:26:17] Gross.
[00:26:17] Um, Hawks is number two.
[00:26:19] I love it.
[00:26:20] Um, and then we get Edshot at number three and then we get Endeavor at number four.
[00:26:26] So you lose.
[00:26:28] Um, but basically his little speech is just railing against the lack of transparency,
[00:26:34] which we will get to many times over the next few seasons.
[00:26:38] Oh yeah.
[00:26:40] Hawks is basically the personification of all the tension going on in the hero society at
[00:26:46] the moment.
[00:26:47] Yeah.
[00:26:48] Um, he, he gets his present Mike intro, um, and like the commentary from the other characters
[00:26:55] who like don't know Hawks personally, cause there's, there's a reason for that.
[00:27:00] Uh, but they like make him seem very Icarus coated wings.
[00:27:05] Young.
[00:27:06] Um, but like, is he?
[00:27:08] A little bit.
[00:27:09] Or is he not?
[00:27:10] A little bit.
[00:27:11] There's, there's a tinge.
[00:27:12] Yeah.
[00:27:12] There, there's a tinge, but we don't go down that potential route with his character.
[00:27:17] Yeah.
[00:27:18] No, not quite.
[00:27:19] Um, so after the ceremony, Hawks and Endeavor go to a restaurant to discuss possibly teaming
[00:27:25] up to deal with some no moo activity in the area.
[00:27:28] And then speak of the devil.
[00:27:30] Their meal is interrupted when a high end no moo, no moo crashes through the window,
[00:27:35] starts attacking, and then the episode ends.
[00:27:38] Yep.
[00:27:39] And also Hawks is very sassy at dinner.
[00:27:41] I love him.
[00:27:42] Um, also before we get to the restaurant, um, there is a blip of a character who is attempting
[00:27:48] to like liberate himself meta liberation army style.
[00:27:53] Um, because he read up on all the meta human liberation literature that's seen a comeback
[00:27:57] following Stain's crime spree and also All Might's retirement.
[00:28:01] Um, and like he attempts to become a flasher and get a power boost because his quirk is shame
[00:28:06] or whatever.
[00:28:08] Hawks just immediately shuts it down.
[00:28:11] He's like, no, no, it's like so much happened.
[00:28:14] And it's so relevant to the plot and the themes.
[00:28:18] And it's like just a blink and you miss it because Hawks is just like, no, shut up.
[00:28:22] I'm going to get hot pot.
[00:28:24] He's like, I'm hungry.
[00:28:26] You are not preventing me from having lunch.
[00:28:29] My hate for Endeavor continues.
[00:28:32] Fuck face.
[00:28:34] Yeah.
[00:28:34] Mm hmm.
[00:28:36] Easter egg.
[00:28:37] Fuck face.
[00:28:41] I also love that while Hawks is just sassing Endeavor who can't fucking stand him at this
[00:28:47] point, I have to point out.
[00:28:48] Oh God, no.
[00:28:49] He's like, you are the most confusing person I've ever met in my life and I don't understand
[00:28:53] a single thing coming out of your mouth.
[00:28:55] And I hate you.
[00:28:57] But Hawks like just freaking pones Endeavor by pointing out that his intern, Tokoyami,
[00:29:04] is doing amazing.
[00:29:06] He's a star student, amazing hero work.
[00:29:09] He's doing great.
[00:29:10] While Shoto, which is ostensibly Endeavor's like protege, at least in public spheres, he's
[00:29:16] just he's just like crashing out at this point or whatever the kids are calling it right now.
[00:29:21] Mm hmm.
[00:29:22] And Endeavor just falls for Hawks' sass every time.
[00:29:26] And it's hilarious.
[00:29:27] He's so easy to rile up.
[00:29:29] He is.
[00:29:31] Because he's fiery.
[00:29:33] Oh, man.
[00:29:34] It's like Hawks' main goal in life is just to raise Endeavor's blood pressure as high as
[00:29:39] possible.
[00:29:40] It's gotta be.
[00:29:41] As he should.
[00:29:43] Mm hmm.
[00:29:44] Yep.
[00:29:44] So some things of note.
[00:29:46] We've already mentioned this, but one day I would like to do an entire character study
[00:29:50] on Hawks as a bonus episode.
[00:29:52] He's probably he's just a really wonderfully nuanced character, possibly the most complex
[00:29:58] character in this entire series.
[00:29:59] And this is pretty typical of just any fandom in general.
[00:30:03] But I do think some of that nuance tends to go over people's heads because they're like
[00:30:07] busy projecting their revenge fantasies on him, which fair.
[00:30:11] I get it.
[00:30:12] Yeah.
[00:30:13] But also there's so many layers to him.
[00:30:16] And I just we got to unpeel that.
[00:30:18] We got to unpack it.
[00:30:18] We got to peel that onion.
[00:30:20] He's got so much going on, especially from his speech when he was sassing Endeavor, but
[00:30:26] like doing his little speech, like everything he's saying between the lines and everything
[00:30:30] he's not saying between the lines, like his little it's literally like 10 seconds of him
[00:30:37] talking and it could be a whole episode, too.
[00:30:40] Oh, yeah.
[00:30:41] Yeah.
[00:30:41] I just want to hear both of you go on your soapbox about Hawks.
[00:30:45] And that's about it.
[00:30:46] I'm just gonna be sitting there listening.
[00:30:48] I don't even know if it would be a soapbox.
[00:30:50] It would just be like, what is with this guy?
[00:30:53] It's a soapbox.
[00:30:55] OK, sure.
[00:30:56] Why not?
[00:30:59] But also just everyone put a little pin in Tokoyami's reluctance to talk about his work
[00:31:06] study with Hawks because it becomes relevant.
[00:31:09] Yes, it does.
[00:31:10] Mm hmm.
[00:31:11] Also, Kota got shoes that match Izuku's.
[00:31:16] He got himself some little red trainers.
[00:31:18] It's so cute.
[00:31:19] It's adorable.
[00:31:20] I love it.
[00:31:21] Yeah.
[00:31:21] Kota is the sweetest.
[00:31:22] Mm hmm.
[00:31:23] He deserves more screen time.
[00:31:24] Yes, he does.
[00:31:26] He's such a good boy.
[00:31:27] Tries so hard.
[00:31:28] Also, I don't know how I missed this on like past rewatches, but there is a vibe between
[00:31:34] Mirko and Edshot.
[00:31:36] Like they they want to fuck.
[00:31:39] Oh, yeah.
[00:31:39] Yeah.
[00:31:40] Yeah.
[00:31:40] Especially with like their little interaction in season seven.
[00:31:45] It's not a spoiler, but they they interact in season seven.
[00:31:49] I second this and it's definitely canon.
[00:31:52] There there's something sexy pants going on.
[00:31:55] Yeah.
[00:31:56] Lots of sexual tension between those two.
[00:31:58] I agree.
[00:31:59] Yeah.
[00:31:59] Very opposites attract.
[00:32:01] Yes.
[00:32:02] Like you annoy the shit out of me and I want to punch your face with my face.
[00:32:06] Kind of a thing.
[00:32:07] My face and my lips.
[00:32:09] Mm hmm.
[00:32:09] Mm hmm.
[00:32:10] Also, as we've already mentioned, this episode spends a lot of time showing us how capable
[00:32:15] Hawks is as a hero.
[00:32:17] So his feathers can separate from his wings and move independently of him and each other.
[00:32:22] And this allows him to handle multiple incidents at once, including small ones, seemingly without
[00:32:28] breaking a sweat or like losing his main train of thought.
[00:32:32] So his IQ is probably off the friggin charts.
[00:32:35] Yes, because he's amazing and sexy.
[00:32:38] Mm hmm.
[00:32:39] And then at one point Endeavor notices a fan who's like nervous to come up to him and ask
[00:32:47] for an autograph.
[00:32:48] So Endeavor, who's trying to follow everyone's advice and is trying to be friendlier, walks
[00:32:53] up to him and is like, hey, I'll give you an autograph if you ask.
[00:32:57] And the fan gets pissed that he's quote unquote catering to fan service and runs off in a huff
[00:33:03] and Endeavor is just like, what?
[00:33:06] And it is hilarious.
[00:33:07] He cannot win.
[00:33:08] And I love it.
[00:33:09] Yes.
[00:33:11] As he should.
[00:33:14] No wins for him.
[00:33:15] Mm hmm.
[00:33:16] All right.
[00:33:17] So we're going to move along to our discussion topics.
[00:33:19] We like we only have two because we're tired.
[00:33:23] We're going to start with the Pussycats comments when they came to visit.
[00:33:28] Yeah.
[00:33:28] They were all talking about how they can't just stand still when there's work to be done
[00:33:33] and they really got to get back out there and people are rooting for them and they don't
[00:33:36] want to let them down.
[00:33:38] That really hit me in the feels.
[00:33:39] It was very timely.
[00:33:40] So timely.
[00:33:42] Oh, I was like, oh, God, this this anime is just so relevant.
[00:33:49] So relevant.
[00:33:51] All right.
[00:33:52] And then just we're going to touch on Hawks's speech again and also Endeavor's response to
[00:34:00] it.
[00:34:00] Yeah.
[00:34:01] So I didn't word myself very well in the notes, but basically during his speech, Hawks
[00:34:05] makes a comment about the importance of the like popularity rating or like the public approval
[00:34:12] rating.
[00:34:13] And at first I was like, dude, that's like super friggin suggest like subjective.
[00:34:20] I don't know if that's as important as you think it is.
[00:34:22] But then I kind of like, you know, how to think about it, read between the lines a little
[00:34:25] more.
[00:34:26] And basically what he's saying is like enough platitudes, enough false humidity.
[00:34:31] People are pissed at us right now.
[00:34:32] We need to pay attention to the public's complaints and let our actions speak louder than our words.
[00:34:40] And then there's Endeavor who's like, oh, thank God, I'm awful at talking.
[00:34:43] He's like, just watch me.
[00:34:45] Just watch me.
[00:34:47] Yep.
[00:34:47] Yep.
[00:34:48] Three words.
[00:34:52] Also, like you kind of get the sense that Hawks like hates Endeavor or like dislikes him with his
[00:34:58] onstage commentary.
[00:34:59] But then we get to Endeavor like confronting Hawks afterwards because of how he made it seem.
[00:35:05] And Hawks is just loving every second of it because this is kind of a spoiler slash Easter
[00:35:10] egg.
[00:35:11] Endeavor is actually Hawks's favorite hero or he was growing up.
[00:35:15] Yeah.
[00:35:16] And I just love that this like introduction has so many damn layers.
[00:35:20] You really don't know what's going on with him from the get go.
[00:35:25] Yeah.
[00:35:25] He shows us two very different sides of his personality almost immediately.
[00:35:30] So.
[00:35:31] Yeah.
[00:35:31] And they and even though they're very different, they actually like match and make sense as
[00:35:37] you get to know his character.
[00:35:38] Yeah.
[00:35:39] Yeah.
[00:35:39] He's he's got a lot of a lot of facets.
[00:35:42] He's got so much going on and he's so hot.
[00:35:47] I've never seen it.
[00:35:48] I'm sorry.
[00:35:49] How dare you?
[00:35:50] I know.
[00:35:51] I'm horrible.
[00:35:52] All right.
[00:35:53] Well, we're going to move along to manga differences because we can't take too much
[00:35:56] time of me trying to convince Maria how sexy Hawks is.
[00:36:02] For chapter 184, when the Pussycats are talking about AFO and like how all his powers are dangerous
[00:36:10] and they still don't know exactly how many he has.
[00:36:13] There's a panel where both Deku and Katsuki look stressed and like they didn't use this
[00:36:19] in the anime.
[00:36:20] Like why?
[00:36:21] Why not?
[00:36:22] Like it.
[00:36:23] Fine.
[00:36:24] Whatever.
[00:36:24] Um, and then in, um, chapter 185, we actually don't see that it's Dabi who enters the high
[00:36:35] end Nomu's room and like talks to him before the attack.
[00:36:38] And also the room is hidden in a place that supposedly like has a cover as a kindergarten.
[00:36:46] Um, that's an Easter egg.
[00:36:49] Mm-hmm.
[00:36:50] Um, also in the manga, the Nomu actually responds to the person, probably Dabi, um, saying like
[00:36:59] the Nomu is not going to let Dabi down.
[00:37:02] So like they like took away some of the Nomu's agency by taking that out.
[00:37:07] Yeah.
[00:37:08] They really trimmed a lot.
[00:37:10] Yeah.
[00:37:11] Probably so they could focus on Hawks.
[00:37:13] Yes.
[00:37:14] I mean, I, I can't fault them for that, but also I can.
[00:37:18] Mm-hmm.
[00:37:18] And then for chapter 186, there were no differences to speak of because I, I really only skim the
[00:37:24] chapters these days.
[00:37:27] And then moving along to Easter eggs, uh, Tokoyami sneezes when Hawks is mentioned.
[00:37:32] And I feel like Hawks is also the only other character who shares this trope because I can't
[00:37:37] think of anybody else in the show who does the, someone is talking about me.
[00:37:42] So I like psychically sneeze in response to it.
[00:37:46] It's a trope in anime and manga.
[00:37:48] Like, I think they're the only two.
[00:37:49] And I don't know if that's significant at all because they're birds.
[00:37:52] Um, whatever.
[00:37:53] No, I think, um, I want to say at least someone else also sneezes.
[00:38:00] Okay.
[00:38:00] It doesn't happen very often though.
[00:38:03] Like he doesn't employ that trope very often.
[00:38:05] He doesn't.
[00:38:06] Also, and if we're asking if Hawks wants to be the new leader is so damn foreshadowy.
[00:38:12] Mm-hmm.
[00:38:13] And also, also not, not to mention Hawks is like response about how he, he'd like to have
[00:38:21] more freedom if he wasn't so popular or like in the public's eye.
[00:38:26] The layers.
[00:38:27] There's just so many layers.
[00:38:29] So much foreshadowing.
[00:38:31] Yep.
[00:38:32] Yep.
[00:38:32] Yep.
[00:38:33] All right.
[00:38:33] And then, uh, the Endeavor fan character, um, he comes back in several arcs.
[00:38:40] And also, yes, we know that he looks like the dude from fairy tale.
[00:38:45] What's his name?
[00:38:46] Natsu or something.
[00:38:48] I didn't know that.
[00:38:49] Yep.
[00:38:49] Yep.
[00:38:49] He's got the hair and the scarf.
[00:38:52] Like we know, we see it.
[00:38:54] Um, and then we have Hawks pushing Endeavor's buttons, like him just sassing him.
[00:39:01] It actually will come back around, but like in reverse in the upcoming arcs that are not
[00:39:07] as fun as this one.
[00:39:09] Yep.
[00:39:09] Yep.
[00:39:10] Yep.
[00:39:11] They, uh, their dynamic is interesting.
[00:39:13] Mm-hmm.
[00:39:14] Mm-hmm.
[00:39:14] Mm-hmm.
[00:39:15] And, and, and also I've kind of mentioned this before, but the fact that the Nomu is being
[00:39:20] hidden in a kindergarten and Dobby is the one who's in charge of it.
[00:39:24] Um, I hate that this was cut.
[00:39:27] And, um, also, ow, Horikoshi.
[00:39:31] How dare you?
[00:39:31] Yep.
[00:39:32] Mm-hmm.
[00:39:33] Who knows?
[00:39:34] Maybe it'll show up in a later episode.
[00:39:36] It's hopefully.
[00:39:39] Because it's very pertinent to what we get in season seven.
[00:39:43] Mm-hmm.
[00:39:44] All right.
[00:39:44] So now we're going to move along to the big spoiler section.
[00:39:47] So if you're not caught up on all of the manga, first of all, how dare you?
[00:39:51] Uh, second of all, we'll talk to you later.
[00:39:52] Bye.
[00:39:55] We're going to start with Hawks' comment about needing a new kind of hero.
[00:40:00] Oh, it's so funny to me that Hawks' instincts were so right and so wrong at the same time.
[00:40:07] Like, yeah, hero society has gotten crazy toxic and performative.
[00:40:11] And in some ways, All Might was the culmination of that.
[00:40:14] But on what planet would Endeavor have been the answer?
[00:40:21] Like, your incomprehensible crush has blinded you, my son, my darling.
[00:40:25] It really did.
[00:40:26] Yes.
[00:40:27] Yeah.
[00:40:27] And, like, granted, at this time, Izuku was still All Might Light.
[00:40:31] Mm-hmm.
[00:40:32] And he hadn't quite come into his own yet.
[00:40:33] But, yeah, he really missed the mark on that one.
[00:40:36] Like, goddamn.
[00:40:37] Yeah.
[00:40:37] Yeah.
[00:40:38] Yeah.
[00:40:39] Oh, he's so dumb in so many ways, but also so smart.
[00:40:44] Mm-hmm.
[00:40:44] Oh, he's so stupid.
[00:40:46] I love him.
[00:40:47] Okay.
[00:40:47] And then I want to talk about Endeavor, Hawks, Dobby, and the high-end Nomu and basically how
[00:40:54] this season is wrapping up.
[00:40:56] It's not really a spoiler.
[00:40:57] It's just a personal, um...
[00:41:00] Complaint?
[00:41:00] ...cripe that I have.
[00:41:02] Um, I got into MHA basically at the point where...
[00:41:08] seasons one through four had aired.
[00:41:11] Like, I caught up to it at the end of season four.
[00:41:15] Um, so I basically binged the first four seasons and the two movies.
[00:41:21] Um, and then I had to wait a year for, like, season five, wherein if you've watched season
[00:41:29] five, you know we learn way, way the fuck more about what's going on with Hawks behind
[00:41:34] the scenes.
[00:41:35] Um, but, like, just to keep myself from prattling on about that, because we'll get to it in the
[00:41:42] episodes coming up pretty soon for the listeners' point of view.
[00:41:46] Um, just, just, like, imagine me frothing at the mouth at all the new information that
[00:41:52] we get in just this, like, four to five episode arc.
[00:41:55] But the fact that it spanned two seasons?
[00:41:58] Yeah, they literally split a season in the middle of an arc.
[00:42:03] Yes, and I, I am personally offended.
[00:42:06] And I'm, I'm going to hold on to that anger for as long as I can.
[00:42:11] Why not?
[00:42:12] Why not?
[00:42:13] Live your best life, BB.
[00:42:14] I will.
[00:42:16] Look, sometimes you have to find a stupid thing to get mad at to keep yourself from losing
[00:42:21] your mind over, like, the very real things that you're mad at.
[00:42:25] Yeah.
[00:42:26] Yeah.
[00:42:26] And that's why I'm mad at all the fictional characters.
[00:42:29] Mm-hmm.
[00:42:30] All right.
[00:42:31] Well, any other final comments other than, uh, death to fascists and autocrats?
[00:42:37] And also, let's, let's bring out the guillotines again, please.
[00:42:42] Maybe.
[00:42:42] Yeah.
[00:42:43] Yeah.
[00:42:44] But also do it, also do your, um, civil disobedience in the boring way as well.
[00:42:50] Yeah.
[00:42:50] Unfortunately, civil disobedience long term is way more effective and way less, um, dangerous.
[00:42:58] Yeah.
[00:42:59] It's much more.
[00:43:00] Specifically for the people you're trying to protect, your civil disobedience is way safer
[00:43:06] for them than people going off and shooting guns and whatever.
[00:43:12] And, and, and doing, doing all the violent things we would love to do.
[00:43:17] Trust me.
[00:43:17] Yeah.
[00:43:18] I would love to do all the violent things, but I'm not going to.
[00:43:23] Because the vulnerable people always die first.
[00:43:27] Yep.
[00:43:27] Always.
[00:43:28] Remember, don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
[00:43:31] Yes.
[00:43:31] Also, the, the right opportunity has not yet presented itself.
[00:43:35] I don't know what the right opportunity looks like, but I'm watching for it.
[00:43:39] And until I find it, I'm, I'm going to.
[00:43:41] Well, that one guy had a pretty good opportunity and fucked it over.
[00:43:44] Oh my God.
[00:43:44] That one guy.
[00:43:45] I'm so mad at him.
[00:43:47] Oh, we're joking.
[00:43:48] We're joking.
[00:43:49] For legal reasons.
[00:43:50] That was a joke.
[00:43:51] For legal reasons.
[00:43:51] We are allegedly joking about everything all the time.
[00:43:56] Oh yeah.
[00:43:57] But yeah.
[00:43:57] Don't, don't give them your compliance.
[00:43:59] Y'all.
[00:44:00] Yeah.
[00:44:00] We can, we can do this.
[00:44:02] But also if anybody has a guillotine, I would not say no to you sharpening it.
[00:44:08] Just, just for funsies.
[00:44:10] Just so it's ready.
[00:44:12] You know, just to, just to get out some emotions.
[00:44:15] You know?
[00:44:15] Yeah.
[00:44:16] It's your new, it's your new passion project.
[00:44:18] Yeah.
[00:44:18] Nice hobby to get out all the stress.
[00:44:21] Arts and crafts.
[00:44:22] Yeah.
[00:44:24] Woodworking.
[00:44:26] Bladesmithing.
[00:44:27] Blacksmithing.
[00:44:28] We're going to stop.
[00:44:29] Yeah.
[00:44:30] We got to wrap this up.
[00:44:31] This has been my hero analysis.
