[00:01:45] you take a shower before you come into the store, but also not come into my store because it's a holiday and it hates you. You stink and you suck. I hate the holidays for another reason.

[00:02:02] Yeah, it's Maria and the holidays had me so out of sorts, like my brain could not comprehend that it was Wednesday. So I didn't do my notes yesterday, which is was a Tuesday.

[00:02:16] So I ended up doing having to do my notes and watching the episode out work during my lunch hour and my notes were on my phone. So I'm all out of whack. Oh god. Yeah, holiday holidays always

[00:02:33] throw things off. It's very like we're pretty punished for some people taking time off. Right? Yeah. Oh Lord, well Maria, what is your recording snack or it's a meeting meal as the case may be? It's apparently a burger from a chicken restaurant. Oh I have Jesus chicken today.

[00:04:08] Oh, man. Yeah. Once again, the news is just that we're having emotions. So many. I don't know where to put them all exactly exactly. You just shove them down deep inside and never think about them again. No, that's that's the opposite. God well before this evolves further

[00:04:30] this week or covering episode 13 of my hero academia season four infinite 100%. And in the manga this is chapters 156 through the first few pages 159. And as usual, I'm going to lead us through

[00:04:46] a synopsis and then hand it off to Maria for a science corner. And then Nicole is going to jump in for discussion topics, manga differences and Easter eggs. And then we will wrap up the episode with

[00:04:56] our big spoiler section. All right. So getting into the synopsis, we start off immediately with just absolute toga twice shenanigans. The girls are fighting above ground and by girls, I mean Ochoko Sue Najire and RyuQ. So they're fighting with the Shia Hesai Kai members that are

[00:05:18] hustling with a police. And Izuku pops up to let Ochoko know exactly where the underground fight is and where that is happening and requests help. They're tumbling. Also, my eyes skimmed over that

[00:05:37] line of notes and I saw the gals are fighting and I thought you meant that toga and twice were like bickering and being bitchy. I'm going to learn a lot. Same thing. There's just like me what? I mean

[00:05:51] makes sense but oh god the next time we see the League of Villains interacting, I'm just going to post a little screenshot that says the girls are fighting. Yes. I love it. So Najire blasts on this group's way

[00:06:09] through to the fight that's happening underground so she's the one that blasts through all the various levels and rubble and all that stuff that we were talking about last time. And this shocks the actual

[00:06:20] Izuku because the Izuku we saw earlier was actually toga. And meanwhile twice creates a double of Mr. Compress and it struck said to try to capture airy so you know they're just causing

[00:06:34] as much chaos as they possibly can. Right, right but also at this point toga's deco disguise has now sloughed off as her quirk does. And like her titties were like all the way out. Like they weren't

[00:06:49] even trying to shield it behind some well-placed rubble and but also, also arguably more importantly she apparently doesn't have any nipnops and I'm sorry. So guys, starting to be giggling so hard

[00:07:04] when I saw your note. I figured if anyone would bring it up it would be Nicole. Yeah. Yeah. I'll know it's it's pretty common and anime to have it like that unless you're looking for

[00:07:19] specific um anyway also she's a confident queen. Yes, yes. I just hope the animators know how to draw the nipnops when it's called for anyway. Also, when they when they just like kind of

[00:07:36] shove the Mr. Compress copy down into the giant sinkhole and expect him to do with thing that multiple heroes are trying to do. Um, so it just says you'll be fine. You're just

[00:07:49] a copy anyway. And I'm over here having an existential crisis on behalf of Mr. Compress and I've never understood twice more than in that moment where he was not allowed to have his emotions. Right. Right.

[00:08:03] Yeah. Yeah. It's messy. It's messy. They're very messy. Very, very messy and slay so yes. So then some fighting stuff happens and during the fight, Erie sees Mirio's cape on the ground and isn't on the

[00:08:20] ground? It's in the air. It's flying in the air on a piece of rugle. Right. Right. There we go. Yeah. The cape is fluttering around whatever, not important. But it's kind of important. Well, the cape

[00:08:33] is important but where the cape is is an important. The cape is a fairy. It's just doing the TikTok thing. Oh, my gosh. She was a fairy. Yes, that. She's as Christ. Okay. So the important thing

[00:08:49] is Erie sees the cape and this reminds her that all of these heroes are working super duper hard to try and save her. So that like finally, you know, snaps her out of this whole self-sacrificial

[00:09:02] thing that she's got going on for, you know, good reason but she grabs the cape and then her horn starts to glow and then we get a flashback sequence explaining that Erie has a time reversal

[00:09:16] quirk. And when she was a baby, she accidentally erased her dad out of existence which holy shit. So her mom just fucking abandoned her also holy shit. Yeah. And overhaul was originally

[00:09:31] asked by the boss to study Erie's quirk. So at first, this was like, you know, something that is evil. Not evil exactly exactly. And the boss asked him to do that because he thought that

[00:09:46] the quirk might be similar to overhaul's quirk. So he was like, hey, you understand what this is like, um see what you can find out. But nope, turns out they are entirely different. Their quirk's work

[00:09:59] very differently. Yes. Yes. Also, my brain went in a different direction. So I'm wondering if it was in fact a mutation between the mother and the father or or did the boss's daughter have an affair?

[00:10:17] I, I need those answers. I need the DNA test. I need a mori here at academia episode or series or just the horecosh. It would be fucking incredible. Horecosh, give it to us now because that would watch the shit out of it. Yes. Yes. Those, those that don't

[00:12:09] All right. All right. All right. All right. Back to the synopsis. So basically we have that flashback and then we're back in the present and Erie since her horn is starting to glow. Accidentally

[00:12:22] rewines overhaul back to before he merged with shin and then jumps out of his grasp to like reach toward Izuku. Yep. Yep. I also, it's not clear, but I feel like Erie just just murdered shin because when they emerged, it looked like shin was still kind of unconscious

[00:12:46] and it looked like he may have just fallen off that skyscraper pillar. RIP shin don't know what happened. Yeah. You may, you may exact still be alive. It's not clear. I have serenading his fellow prisoners.

[00:13:06] Also, I love the Erie basically says, I have to go back. I have to let them help me and out my own personal vulnerability work just kind of lynched at that sentence. Thanks,

[00:13:20] child. I know the precious baby is finally getting the hope she deserves. Yeah. It's really sweet. It's really sweet. Oh wait. shin isn't the, he's not the the K-pop idol looking one. No that's

[00:13:54] towards Izuku who manages to catch her and she's like piggybacking on him. Um, and then more fighting happens and Izuku notes that even though he's using one for all at 100%. He's not injured. So that's

[00:14:08] interesting. Also, Nai Dye is still there with the still act height and his chest and he is still predicting that Izuku is going to die in this battle. And Poro Choco is just like, God damn it.

[00:14:21] I wish I could help. Yeah. She is she's suffering the vampire side effects because it's we kind of glossed over it but the very first guy that re-cueen them were fighting. He's like a

[00:14:32] vampire. Yeah, he's like a energy vampire and it's never mentioned again. No. Also, also real quick, Nai Dye in this little scene. He had the most intense yowie side eye watching Izuku in overhaul fighting. Like, sir, you're so dramatic. It's ridiculous. He's got a beach romantic but anyways,

[00:14:54] as the president of these that Izuku fan club, Ochocho has got to fulfill her duties. It's just I feel like Kaseki is going to burst out of the wall and try to pick a fight because you called

[00:15:05] her the president. Yeah, he's filming at the mouth because he doesn't want anyone to know yet. No, he's just the first man of the Izuku fan club. Is that a president? I feel like he'd still,

[00:15:21] I feel like he'd still be the president in the fan club because Izuku doesn't know about the fan club. Izuku is totally clueless. Yes. And around his fellow class one A students, he's just an utter fucking clown. But Kaseki doesn't like anyone to know he cares about

[00:15:35] Izuku up until the point. Yes, but he has to establish dominance. That's yes. Which is more important than anything else. I feel like he and Ochocho have like weekly meetups to like beat the shit out of each

[00:15:52] other to like win back the title of president. Yeah, they have this little belt with that's has little fake em rolls on it and they find every week. Sometimes it's physical, some days it's just a

[00:16:03] bitch off and if they just trade the belt back and forth. Yep, yep, yep, maybe she has the belt this week. Yeah, I bet so. Oh Lord. All right. So during the fight, overhaul once again starts trash talking

[00:16:22] but Izuku is like excuse you, excuse the fuck out of you. Erie's Quirk is awesome and he realizes that her rewindability is what's allowing him to use 100% indefinitely because she's reversing the damage as it's happening. Yeah, even though she doesn't really control it like Izuku is

[00:16:43] Izuku is essentially breaking himself at the same rate as areas rewinding himself. Her him, them. Yeah. Anyway, um, during this point also, it's easy to get does say that the only way to stop

[00:16:57] her from like doing all this rewinding after she has activated is by disassembling her. So we do in fact, it confirmation that he has disassembled her until number of times just to stop her from using her Quirk and bitch. Oh my god, that's literally seconding. Yeah. Also,

[00:17:27] during this part there's so much going on in this fight scene. I forgot so much happened. Yeah. But it's at this point that we get Decker's first like super Saiyan moment where his hair

[00:17:38] stands up and it takes colors and it's intense and I was like oh my god, it's our boy. Yes, I love that look. It's so fun. So then more fighting stuff, Ryu-gu takes down the

[00:17:50] Mr. Compress clone and Ochoko recovers enough to use her Quirk to kind of air lift Nidai above ground with the goal of you know getting him treated for the giant fucking hole in his

[00:18:02] stomach. Um, and like he's okay. It sounds like he's copying all my y'all. Yeah, yeah, for real, or real. You're both donuts. Yeah. Oh, Ringo-gu. Oh, no. Oh, god. Oh, good. All right. So then, overhaul reveals that

[00:18:33] Eric can't control her Quirk very well or at all. And this reminds EZuku of when he first got one for all. So you know, there's that empathetic connection also, Mirio. It's almost like children and also adults just to a different extent need to be guided, not

[00:18:54] punished so that they can make their way in a positive society and not be traumatized. Sir. Um, Ocho-gu with the Miramel at once again, striking a multiple times in multiple various ways. Mm-hmm. Yeah, it's almost like we're born not automatically being able to do everything perfectly,

[00:19:15] shocking, shocking, truly shocking. Mm-hmm. So then overhaul recalls that his original motivation for creating the Quirks and turning himself into the next all for one was to think the boss for taking him in by making the Yakuza great again. But his motivations got so corrupted over time that

[00:19:37] he ended up putting the boss in the coma that he's in because he didn't like overhaul's plans. So wow, wow dude, you really got off track. Yeah. Yeah. And then there's more fighting

[00:19:50] EZuku beats the absolute shit out of overhaul and it's very fun to watch and EZuku wins. Yeah, he does. Yes, yes, he does. Hi pickles. She has come into the booth. But I do wonder which way the corruption went for overhaul's like motivation.

[00:20:12] Did he always see society as diseased and therefore he wanted to like control the disease by being the puppet master behind the eraser serum and their restoreer serum? Or did he just want to make the

[00:20:26] Yakuza great again and get money? And his motivations warped when he wasn't support. Do you like you good? You like my little, my little acronym. I wish you were out of what that was.

[00:20:43] I was writing the notes and I was like whatever. Well at first I was like M.A. Y. G.A. Then I'm like wait, America's not in the Ecosis. We go take the egg out and replace it with

[00:20:57] Yeah, for listeners, Nicole's notes includes the acronym and Y. G.A. instead of bag us. Anyway, this is mostly a rhetorical question but the the ability of evil continues to be control society get money corner the power because no one else gets me. Yeah, yep, yeah,

[00:21:20] Exactly. So then NIDI and OchoGo reach the surface and they're able to see that EZUGU won the battle and NIDI finally realizes that EZUGU managed to change the future. Yes, just like OchoGo said we write the teacher. Yep, so some things have note

[00:21:42] um so as we mentioned at the beginning of the episode there's that energy vampire who sucks out um I think it's NIDIRA OchoGo and Sue. I think I'll get hit. Yeah, um but despite that

[00:21:56] No, NIDIRA doesn't get hit. It's Sue and OchoGo and I think some of the cops. Okay, okay got you. Yeah. Well despite that OchoGo can still live to re-UQ and Rikia that energy guy who grows as he

[00:22:11] sucks people's energy up and they're both fucking enormous so even after having her life force sucked out of her she can still lift them very high like good lord this girl do even lift. She

[00:22:24] lift so much. She's a muscle head for sure. Oh yeah. Works out as much or more than EZUGU. Oh yeah, yeah for sure. Also I just remembered this so Rikia is like the energy vampire guy

[00:22:41] and it in overhauls like final fighting form when he's got all this like extra muscle and extra bulk it's because he fused with Rikia but he did not take advantage of his energy vampire

[00:22:55] work like he didn't try and suck EZUGU's energy up and like I feel like he might have won if he done that. Also still shin no order to be found. I worry for the little guy guy.

[00:23:09] Yeah, oh god so much happened so much. Also after Togaz Dawn impersonating EZUGU there's a point where she says go entropy plus chaos which this is an amazing phrase and I really really

[00:23:23] wish it had caught on and I'm gonna try to make a catch on again just I think it's so funny. As you should, as you should I feel like the reason though it didn't quite catch on is because in the

[00:23:32] dub it's go confusion plus chaos and that's rude and Tupy is so much better but that may have contributed. Yeah yeah that's not nearly as fun. No I don't know why they do it.

[00:23:44] Fun fact I actually watched the episode in English for once because I was watching it out work. I can't really see the panels. Yeah, it was a whiplash I didn't like it. Also this song when Erie jumps out of overhaul's arms and she's like reaching for EZUGU

[00:24:11] and EZUGU is reaching for her and then he catches her and I'm not crying you're crying everyone cries at that song it is from heroes rising everyone cries. It's so so emotional oh my god

[00:24:28] the impact isn't sane. Great to the feel. Also the battle music was epic as fuck and to be honest this whole episode is just a masterpiece like the music, the artistic choices, the pacing,

[00:24:45] everything's just incredible what the fuck we did not do this episode justice like at all in the saddest and that's my fault but just no listeners it was amazing. Yes it's amazing

[00:24:57] and needs to be watched over and over and over I feel like this arc would have been a great candidate for like becoming a movie like how demons layer make some of their arcs

[00:25:08] like into a movie like the train episode. This would have been a great train episode. Ring the two. Brighoku. Hi P. Alright P my boy. This final fight scene was like a

[00:25:23] stounding and I did not remember how much of a call forward it is to EZUGU's development and how like his art develops when he goes into his super Saiyan mode which I feel like we really only see

[00:25:38] in the movies. He's got kind of a different style for the later manga arcs but like it's like it's all there it's all together and it's all beautiful how dare. Everything was so damn artistic

[00:25:52] you can definitely tell this studio pit all of its animatency into this and no I'm not sorry you shouldn't be they unfortunately it looks like they took some of their usy out of Yuryanice and put it into this episode and that's a different one. Oh that's Mappa

[00:26:16] the white people keeps saying it's bones they're wrong. Mappa is the one that does a jujitsu kaisen. Yes so they they took their Yuryanice usy and put it into gojo. Yeah yeah literally. All right well that's all for the episode

[00:26:50] Gloria today. So first of all in Nageraseburg so her is one of the easiest to explain scientifically which makes me really happy because I really didn't have to use my brain for this. Basically like human body naturally has electricity running through their bodies.

[00:27:08] Nagerase basically a human battery much like denky except you know she doesn't lose her head. I don't know what hers is a little more neat how hers works is by compressing the natural energy she hasn't her body into one point. This is probably why she can also float.

[00:27:25] So they also naturally has electricity running through it and she is basically able to float by reversing the flow of electricity allowing her to go high. Amazing. Cool as shit. I want that one. Yeah yeah me too. And effort Yury. So we haven't gone into areas Kirk because

[00:27:44] I was waiting for this part. So areas ability is the reversal of the human body. So area basically resets the body back onto the time before gestation. She doesn't degenerate the cells which makes me inflict like breakdown of the cells but rather emergence the cells

[00:28:03] back together before they split. So instead of going forward it's going backwards. Mm-hmm. Yeah that makes sense because she was basically healing Yuzu goo. So instead of it being millions of cells it becomes one. The reason that her court can be used to

[00:28:21] get rid of squirks is because of her cell makeup. There is already technology here and now in the real world that use the certain cells from donors to target malignancies like cancers, blood cells like all sorts. So I specifically work in this field so I know no.

[00:28:43] Which is basically what Asha McGee is doing. If he was able to get his hands on that technology he would she likely been. He could easily, sometimes he's like have it target the genes for quirks. Also given that

[00:29:01] areas Quirk is a mutation of a mutation allegedly. But ever trigger was on her cells would not be affected by her own cells. So like she wouldn't be affected by her own work. Nope. And on top

[00:29:18] of that so the reason why it's so expensive is because even now to make something at of cells human takes days. Sometimes it could take like two to three months. So if it is taking him

[00:29:36] that amount of time he has to keep the cells happy, he has to keep them growing. So that's why it's so expensive and that's why he needs to get her the quick money to be able to make more.

[00:29:52] Yeah that makes sense. Is it like more like CRISPR or is it more like the henry at a lot? So stay think. So it would probably be more like CRISPR. Okay. Because so how they do it is you take a healthy felt which I'm assuming areas are super

[00:30:29] The DNA in the cell will be broken up. It'll insert that little bit of genetic material. It'll steal a backup and then it'll replicate so it binds. So it makes like a little

[00:30:41] hook that'll bind that healthy cell to other cell to either kill it or change it. So he's trying to kill the gene for quarks which so essentially the little little cell is just going like

[00:31:00] you do do oh here's the gene. Yeah, yeah, chop chop. And that's what areas work. Quick work. And they're interesting. Interesting. All right. So moving along to discussion topics we only have a couple. We're going to start with first point on Ari and Shiggy. Yeah, they're just

[00:31:22] oh my god the parallels. There's so many. They're so fucking many like they both had very similar quark awakenings that caused like immediate death. But Ari was shown compassion and understanding

[00:31:34] from the heroes much earlier in life. And yes, I'm once again sad about baby tango and I will discuss this a bit more in the big spoiler section because there's only so much detail I can go into.

[00:31:44] Yeah, yeah. Yes, so much to talk about. And then I was the they're so parallel they'll never touch but they're also so alike. And then I actually had a discussion point to contribute and basically

[00:32:01] Shizuki's whole thing is he's going to rewind people's genes so he can cure heroes society. First of all, Shizuki, your eugenics sit down. Right? Yeah. Let them look out. Yeah. And we're going to talk about it a little more down below because we actually get more detail

[00:32:21] in the manga. But this point is that it's again pointing out it's again a villain pointing out that this hero society is broken perhaps irrevocably and can only thus be destroyed according

[00:32:36] to Shigi or rewound according to overhaul. And like it's like you're making a good point but also the genicide the eugenics can go dial it back just a bit. Right? It's like it's some of what you're

[00:32:51] saying is correct. Not the way you're going about it. No, no, very much not. Okay. All right. Moving along to the manga differences there was actually quite a lot. So just wrap in I guess

[00:33:07] for chapter 156 again, I was focused on the wrong thing. But Togaz titties in that scene, they're not even shown at all in the manga. Like it's there's not even a scene showing her body

[00:33:23] in any of the panels. So like whoever drew this episode why I shown in nonsense. I was about to say it because I feel like you need a slap several and also perhaps an anatomy lesson

[00:33:39] assuming that Togaz body does in fact ascribe to mammalian norms, but also just your shown in. Please stop. We don't need it. Okay. And then we do actually get a bit more detail on the boss's

[00:33:53] daughter because as the boss is talking to Tizuki in the flashbacks, we've learned that the marriage between the daughter and the now dead husband and father basically caused a falling out between

[00:34:10] her and the boss. So that's kind of why there was that disconnect. There's also a little family tree with little symbols for the various quirks and how areas was different from all the other symbols.

[00:34:22] And I try to zoom in to see what they like were, but there's no key on the chart. So therefore I don't know what the quirks are and Horko-shi, please your kill a make. Give me data. I need the

[00:34:36] lore. We need to know we need to know not just that it's different but like why and how and how and do we need to bring my hair I could aim in more poe vitch overseas to get into this. So

[00:34:51] anyway for chapter 157, it's actually phrased a little clearer that it was Mirio's words and actions that really resolved in areas desire and therefore her taking action and being rescued from her situation not merely accepting her cursed fate and sacrificing herself and all that.

[00:35:11] Yeah, which I feel like is really important because Mirio was the one who felt the most gilty about leaving her behind. Yep, yep for sure. And then Decker phrases it as she's a key is like

[00:35:24] taunting Ari and Decker is essentially saying fuck you, he phrases it in the manga as Ari can't regulate her power and I feel like that's a very good descriptor because you know children, literal children they can't regulate anything yet. Yeah, that's really. Nope, they have too many

[00:35:44] emotions. There's too much going on and adults are stupid. So for 158 we get a little actually a little bit of world building on the first page in that we learned that one of the theories

[00:35:59] of how quirks so randomly manifested is that it was basically from a virus that was spread through mice and then like moved over to humans. Oh, which also connects it to Nezoo because he's a rat just

[00:36:13] just realized that anyway. Um, they feel like I'm really where that mean where you're like I just connected the dots and I'm like you didn't connect shit and you're like no I've connected them.

[00:37:44] is very important and we will discuss it more a little further down because that's a little spoilery but not big spoilery. We'll get to an interesting yeah and I actually actually saw that folks on TikTok were like making fun of bones for not animating that specific panel because

[00:38:01] of how important it becomes later not just to the location itself but in the actual reveals we got in very recent chapters about shiggy. It's just like you lose you should have

[00:38:16] animated it but also they didn't know anyway. Also in the chapter we actually see a couple panels of bystanders in those like very clearly residential buildings around the fights like getting caught

[00:38:31] up in the crossfire and they're like oh shit oh shit what that would make oh shit. Yeah yeah I can't just pour this for people they're just like what the fuck is going on they're just

[00:38:39] trying to have their coffee and going to work and then there's monsters outside. All right and then in the manga cheesecake literally states that he's attempting to annihilate the world's structure and I feel like this sounds quite similar to someone else we know

[00:39:01] and then for 159 it's actually kind of out of order with this anime episode so we'll come back to it like as I was there but he's not in this episode it's time we'll get back to it.

[00:39:13] Okay Easter eggs let's go so the vampire super strength guy at the very beginning again he's a vampire and no one talks about it but more importantly he's wearing red shoes and I feel yeah remember when we were all really invested in the red shoes theory.

[00:39:33] Oh man what was even I can't even remember the conclusion of the red shoe theory the red shoe theory states that Izuku wears these red shoes because his toes are different so there's this whole theory that there is a shoe company catering specifically to

[00:39:48] corkless people and that's right yeah because Shigi is wearing the same shoes the theory was that he was somehow corkless or he had a cork forced upon him and he had the same shoes and

[00:40:05] we'll get to it. Oh lord oh lord that's so fucking fun. It's ridiculous. Anyway moving along we'll get to it but moving along through this out that's not quite as spoilery. Pretty sure at one point

[00:40:18] we were all very confused about what Toga was gonna do at that little bit of Izuku's blood that's my mind. We were like she's gonna do something and everything's gonna blow up in the

[00:40:29] manga and we don't know what it was here she just used it here. Oh my fucking god she literally just used it for a prank. She yep she literally took her your mind and so her oh my god that's so

[00:40:46] fucking funny. Yes amazing yes queen we do have to wonder if there's any blood left but I feel like there's not because she really got like a drop of it. Yeah anyway we panicked for no reason

[00:40:59] and then at one point she's like he says give her back talk about area and how she just escaped to Izuku and no one is ever going to be able to say that phrase again with any pronouns

[00:41:12] and not make me think of Bakudeko at the camp. That phrase is theirs. Yep it is it is god we have Bakudeko brainwraith so bad. So bad. Okay and then at one point Izuku comments that he

[00:41:26] can't really maneuver in midair to avoid jizuki very well and this continues to be an issue until it's not but then it still isn't issue. Izuku gets some propellers or something. Okay moving along so jizuki originally planned like his big money making scheme was that there

[00:41:46] was going to be a serum to restore the lost quirks that were lost from the bullets that we do see. And I feel like that could come in really big handy in current chapters. Where are they?

[00:41:59] Jizuki where it's obviously not clear if anywhere ever made or if they would even work for folks who had had their quirks taken in a different way like by AFO but like the possibility

[00:42:13] there's still there. Like do we have any any any files anywhere? And I do wonder if there's like even a formula out there for the restoration serum like if he'd even gotten to that point

[00:42:25] in his research. I'm pretty sure there are still at least a couple of quirk or racing bullets like technically still out there even up to chapter 4 23 so like I feel like we should find

[00:42:37] that formula and get it going. Well Lord knows I don't remember. We will find out like with Izuku's blood in Tocca's hands it's probably going to be something really stupid. All right and then Izuku's silhouetted form when he delivers that final blow to

[00:42:57] overall as well as when he goes into his super Saiyan coloring including in his tears like his tears are activated and there's like the giant multiple punches that are like more metaphorical

[00:43:11] and like it's arguably if they're not really there or not but that sort of art style is used in several boss fights going forward particularly in heroes rising and in world heroes because Izuku

[00:43:25] only has one fallback for fights and that is just punch. Yeah I wonder if this season came out right around the time heroes rising came out. I bet it came out around the time I bet they were working on

[00:43:40] it at the same time. That's what I'm saying. Yeah yeah so they probably like borrowed from each other. All right and then there is one manga page in chapter 157 where cheesecake is like reaching out to Izuku and his hand seems purposely drawn similarly to AFOs where there's darkness

[00:44:02] in the center of his palm rather than it being detailed and like sir very nice. Very good. Love it. He's so heavy handed sometimes. Like are you getting the bed of force people?

[00:44:15] Yeah yeah are you seeing the connections and you need to make this really clear for you and then in chapter 158 this is the spoiler we're talking about so it's it's a spoiler if you're

[00:44:27] not caught up on. I don't even know if we've gotten that part of Toya's backstory but it's part of Toya's backstory. It's probably going to be animated this season of season 7 but we do get a

[00:44:39] single panel of cheesecake in a room but there are other children visible like in the background. AKA this is when he's at the Nightmare Daycare. That we learn about in Toya's backstory later on and again folks online have been bashing studio bones for not animating it but like

[00:44:59] did they tell them did they like the manga to you tell them about the importance of this panel because I feel like if they didn't the manga team is at fault or they're giggling because

[00:45:11] they're all haha. But also there's just there's so much stuff going on there's so much back and forth there's so much collaboration something was going to get missed at some point their human beings. Yep and it's obviously fine like it's the great Easter egg for everybody who

[00:45:25] knows what's going on but it doesn't actually change the plot so it's just fine yeah it's will live that will live it's it's it's yummy tea but it doesn't actually affect anything. All right and then

[00:45:37] in chapter 159 we do actually get a panel of Izuku and his like powered up pupils and they are identical to how he's drawn in heroes rising when he and Katsuki are basically leveled up together

[00:45:53] and it's like yes yes the parallels yes good job love it. All right now we're going to talk about the big spoiler section so I guess for folks who aren't caught up on the 400s I guess

[00:46:08] yeah just if you haven't read 423 by yeah yeah yeah so like I said we're recording this in between 423 coming out 424 should be out soon um I want you to I have feelings it's gonna sound
